I love love love the feel of the nano texture for note taking. I prefer it, by far, over paperlike.

Thank You for the video. My option: Nano Glass and for heavy Pencil use sessions, the removable „Rock Paper Pencil“ (paperlike) from Astropad.

Oh yeah that’s a pretty neat idea! I haven’t had the best experience with those kinds of screen protectors in the past, but that is definitely a good option to explore!

How do you keep scratches at a minimum? My paper like 2 protector is showing swirl marks on my 12.9 M 2 screen. 11:52

Well I use a folio case a lot so the screen is protected pretty much at all times. But if it is the Apple Pencil itself that is scratching it, then there isn’t a whole lot you can do. Those matte screen protectors just get scratched over time

I recently found out there's matte glass protector now. I'm curious how they do on the nano iPad compared to the paper feel matte abilities. I'm very clumsy, that screen is a bad idea based on that, for me. I have to have a screen protector 😅 hence I looked into matter glass screen protectors. I have tempered glass on my iPad. I feel safer with the extra layer. But want matte options. I do wonder if a two layer approach would work, ie tempered glass screen protector with a matter film over it. But I worry it will affect Apple pencil usages maybe more delay or skipped lines etc.

From how I’ve seen it, anything you put on the nano-texture will affect the reflectivity. I’ll check out those kind, but likely they will get closer, but still not as good as nano-texture, but I will definitely let you know if I find out anything differently! Thanks for bringing that up!

Yeah I think if you put two screen protectors on at the same time it would cause problems with the Pencil. I think a matte screen protector would still be better for regular glass as covering the nano-texture just kinda makes that $100 not worth it

Nana’s texture seems more Impressive than i thought, still no regrets getting base 13” pro model. I guess anyone who pays 2k+ $ for nano texture should just get apple care+ & not get the screen protector at all. (Person buying Nano texture can probably afford replacement every 4 months costing $99 to $299, if need be)

Yeah, Nano-Texture definitely has some really cool features up its sleeve and since I was already wanting the 1 TB version then it made it worth it. Also, thankfully getting it in the 11” is still under $2k! But yeah if you’re getting a base model then that will still be an awesome device! Thanks for sharing!

I used the $60.00 dollar Zagg screen protector on my $2,599 dollar Apple iPad Pro, which is specifically designed for iPads with the Nano Texture Screen, as indicated on the box.

Yeah I think for a lot of people, getting the standard glass and then a paper like screen protector will be the better option.

Mine shipped at the absolute last moments of the delivery window- and was in “processing” for 3 weeks before that. 😵 i have never had so much patience in my life 😅 so don’t worry- it will get to you in the window- but on the last day maybe.
