John and Catherine are a husband and wife team from Southern Connecticut. We grow food and flowers on the new 40 acre farm we just bought and are building from the ground up using reclaimed materials whenever possible.

Hi John and Cat. It sounds horrendous to be a female alpacas if left near a male unsupervised. John that was so informative. Every time you do a video like this I learn something new about the alpaca. Thank you. So excited to see Belinda’s new little one. Great video.

Hi from CT!! When we first got alpacas we thought we'd be basically the only ones, turns out there's alpacas EVERYWHERE here lol

The sex life of alpacas is proof that they were a Special Creation given to humanity. They could never have evolved. They need us just to exist. And we should thank God for them as a great gift. We need them too.

isn't that wild? I had never heard of an animal that didn't have an ovulation cycle before. That's my best adult only fun fact about alpacas.

@OldReddingFarm and please don't think this is impulsive. I worked on an alpaca farm in Canada for a few years. I live in the United States and I've been wanting to have alpaca of my own for 3 years.
