I don’t think Ian has been enjoying being on smosh for a long time. It’s just been another job for him and he’s been forcing himself to be happy. Also smosh was owned by another company and they had very little control over how they did things or what would happen. With Anthony coming back, they now get to do what they want with the channel.

it's prolly cuz he's also able to have less of a workload cuz he's no longer the only boss. since anthony is generally a natural people person- i'm sure he adjusted relatively quickly as smosh's second boss. good for ian!

To be fair, until like, 20 I would always get the date mixed up and would only correct myself with the "2011" mistake cause I wouldve remembered it happening. There are people who are adults now where 9/11 happened either before they were born or when they were young children and not comprehending it. Angela (according to google) wouldve been like, 7 or 8 when it happened. Also 9/11 was literally traumatic for the entirety of the US and she mightve blocked that memory and now has to depend on context clues (like my younger self) to even remember the date. Also some people are just dog shit at history and cant keep any dates straight (which Angela has shown during Starkid Livestreams and has to announce production dates when she is actively reading them lol.)

I haven't watched smosh for years, I've seen a few videos and clips here and there but I remember being an avid viewer back when they first started (I'm talking Anthony and Ian era) but accidentally stumbling on this video now that I'm 24 and literally being in tears from laughing so hard has been the best and definitely reminded me why I loved watching their videos and makes me want to circle back and start watching more of their videos again!

Angelas 9/11 was iconic specially with Shayne's reaction Ians exams 😂 and his "fun group" i can't This video is too good

When Courtney said “Our heart digests blood” was the most I’ve ever laughed watching a Smosh video. It got me good.

I could listen to Ian tell dark stories in a happy (or even monotone) voice every day and never get bored. I’d love a series like that.

Ian always seems a bit more energized in Beopardy to me, but it's doubled now with the energy he's had since he and Anthony bought Smosh. Self-ownership of the brand and having his friend back in his life really gave this man some life back.

Damn, Ian says something wholesome for once and they still roast him for it.

i’m from louisiana deadass we didn’t even have sex ed in my parish (that’s what we call counties) we just had health classes where we talked about general wellness and drug prevention. i remember, especially growing up heavily in the church, when i got my first period it was like the scene from carrie. i had no idea what was going on (i had to look up videos on youtube to figure out how to use a tampon because my family thought using them would make me promiscuous)

i think you will be happy to know that (at least in my school) the health classes have improved significantly, we have them scattered throughout both middle and high school, people aren’t separated based on sex, and it goes very in debth, it’s also not a “SEX IS SCARY NEVER DO IT” it’s like “if you do it, here are good protective measures you can use” they are also actually classes and not just a quick run down during PE
