When a ship in sinking do you thank the person who told you or complain that they are the reason the ship sank? Also, if MKBHD told me a product was good and I bought it and it turned out to not be good, I would never listen to him again. He HAS his followers because he is reliable.

Appreciate your comment mate and the sentiment makes total sense. Counterpoint --> If you are a new company thats made a mediocre product should you not have an opportunity to go through the process of failing and iterating your product without the lens and scrutiny of a massive audience

@@Chang_Media thats why a company should sell a vision of what the end goal is and not let it be decided by one "mediocre" product. a company should have more money run way than that. also the consumer has no role in helping a company iterate through products. that is what a study group and or internal dog fooding group is supposed to do.

@Chang_Media why (as a consumer), should I be the one to suffer through a company's bad product simply because it is still finding itself and making changes?

there's no debate to be had, if a company releases a bad product as a cash grab they deserve to fail. they had no intention of releasing a good product and i'm so happy they're collapsing.

Humane raised $241 million$. But yes, lets cry for them for trying to sell grabage for $700+ $24 monthly subscription and shame honest reviewers. Reviewers have a duty of care to their subscribers NOT corporations. Their audience are their customers not companies. Btw, if you have an amazing product, not even Barack Obama could tank it. As the kids say, step your cookies up Humane.

I think there needs to be better research in your videos and a couple thoughts: 1. Marques' last name is pronounced "Brown-lee" and not "Brown". 2. Fisker is a startup, sure, but the company was tanking because of its own incompetence. Not because of what MKBHD said--the most obvious evidence being that this is actually the second time Henrik Fisker (the CEO) tried starting the car brand of Fisker and failed. Fisker was a company in the 2010s, and this was supposed to be their revival. Henrik isn't some young aspirational entrepreneur; he's a multimillionaire former car designer who's done terribly at being a CEO and named the company after himself. So framing Fisker as some budding young, promising company that was stifled by a big KZreadr is insincere. 3. Celebrities should be mindful of not exaggerating anything, sure, but the only thing Marques really exaggerated was the title of the videos. When it comes to the actual reviews, he literally just descrives exactly what each product does, and very honestly gives his opinions on who should buy it. If you watch both videos entirely I would be very confused if anyone thinks Marques should soften his reviews. Think about it on the other hand: Isn't it worse if he doesn't show that a $700 pin does everything your phone already does but worse? Isn't it worse if he doesn't tell people who are going to put $50,000 on a new car, that the car's keys don't even work most of the time? I'm serious, I encourage you to watch his two videos and list anything in the videos that is "too harsh" or "exaggerated" that isn't just an honest observation of how bad the products are. 4. Once you watch the videos, and if you agree that the videos are honest, then the only issue with the videos are that the title is clickbait. But then, even that isn't really an issue when you think about it, because if you make a decision on whether you buy a car or a pin based on a clickbait title alone...that's completely the fault of that buyer for not doing research, because who decides on a car off of one youtube title?

Mrwhosetheboss literally trashed the AI pin whilst the owner was there, but MKBHD gets all the hate? Oh btw the car stokes had been falling well before MK's review. People making a fuss out of nothing. Companies keep on doing shit but when reviewers refuse to buy into that shit, ya'll give then slack. Btw, That AI pin was bad.

Siding with and protecting the feelings of a company worth almost 850 mil is...a choice? If they’ve got the money and they're asking for 700 dollars plus 24.99 from cosumers, they better be on their p's and q's. Why are they owed "niceness"? The product needs to work. It really seems like, from your video, you didn't even watch his review. The product was bad. It didn't work or do even half the things it was supposed to do. But instead, you're accusing him of having an "ego" and being irresponsible and unkind? Why is Humane AI (a million dollar corp) owed niceness and constructive criticism but a influencer you obviously don't respect isn't? Especially because, had you watched his video, you would've seen Marques WAS constructive. Also a review isn't defamation???? Like, categorically??? Wow.

@@Chang_Media So how come there is no corresponding discussion on when a review pushes up sales for a product and whether that is right or not. There should be no personal view in product reviews. It should be just factual but plenty of reviewers always talk about whether they would use the product or not instead of leaving it up to the viewers. The product is bad and those women saying it was his ego have missed the responsibility of a reviewer like MKBHD. Make a good product full stop.
