Hallo, Danke für Deine Rückmeldung. Verwendet habe ich dieses mal die original Motoren mit Räder von Lobster. Sind zwar teuer, laufen dafür aber sehr leise und ohne Unwucht.

This is so cool. I,m building a ball machine at the moment. The wheels seems to spin at quite a low revolution. how do you get so much distance with such low revolutions? And where did you get your throw wheels if I may ask?

Hello, the wheels rotate at a maximum of 5800 RPM (measured) - this is an optical illusion in the video. For a ball speed that is normal for me, I need between 50 and 70% PWM. I use original Lobster server motors and wheels. On my website, see link above in the description, you will find parts lists for download and much more

@@wolfgangbisinger oh wow ok that’s handy. I’m currently using two 10000 rpm motors that is showing some good results but running it at full speed does give off a bit of vibration. Next step for me is to figure out the mechanism how to tilt the wheel rig up and down. It’s a pretty cool project to figure out

@@sakkievanniekerk5648 Wow 10000 RPM, respect, how do you deal with the unbalance of the wheels? Can you balance the wheels? And if so, how?

@@wolfgangbisinger it’s a bit tricky. I’m building a new rig now that has bearings on the opposite side of the motors. The plan is to have the wheel fixed in the middle of the shaft with the motor one side and the bearing on the other side which will hopefully stabilise the whole thing.

Any problems with balls jamming in hopper or drop point in hopper? Looks like you are using a big motor and massive gear to drive the disc.

Hello, I use a regular worm gear motor or a 13 rpm planetary gear motor. Yes, the motor has to be powerful because the fully filled ball turntable must be turned reliably even with small PWM values. When the ball hopper is full, it is often possible for a ball to fail and for it to jam so that the ball turntable blocks, but this should never happen. If it does, it is a blockage error that has to be remedied in the design, which is what I had at the beginning.
