April, I know that you are respectful to my walk with Christ and Christianity. Your respect towards myself and my questions has influenced my willingness to be open to more energetic work and the spirits surrounding us. You do not “scare me” with your magic. I think Witchery has been so demonized in our culture that we aren’t even willing to listen and learn. Some of the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit are “meta” so I guess I’m cautiously listening and learning. What I KNOW is you have been so respectful of me personally and have lovingly answered my questions without judgment. You are helping me release what no longer serves me and you support the path of learning I am on with loving myself. Thank you April

That is so lovely! You know, the church preaches spirit possession ( the infilling of Holy Spirit), human sacrifice, the covering of "the blood" (pretty pagan), being seated in heavenly places (multidimensionalality) and the interaction with otherworldly beings! Christianity is its own magical practice! Heck, the opening chapters of Ezekiel sound like an encounter with aliens! I'm glad we became friends!

Hi April, Congratulations for starting this New channel. I hear so much especially these days about Witches. I only have ever seen them on broom sticks in story books, and have never much asked many questions about true life Witches. As I have been happy traveling through my life using Mediations daily when possible. This was not so possible when my children were very young. But I did tap into Mediation when ever there was a moment as I knew it helped me be a better MUM. From 16 ...I was into tarot and oracles, but again being honest That slipped aside some when my children were very young. But once they were off my hip I did get back into everything I loved again. I am now 53 and very much into listening to my body. I became plant based 6 years ago and my body loves it. Funny it was the first time in my life my cycle became 28 days. I have been living with PCOS since my teens. And never ever was my cycle ....28days. Ha Ha... I also do low fat and low sugar. Recently I heard you say you sort of live this way also. So far Menopause has been breezy for me compare to how my body use to handle being so overweight with diabetes 2 etc. I now feel alive and happy and fitter then I have been in so long. I am so looking forward to maybe learning more about the different moon cycles from you from your videos etc. I loved your Menopause videos on your tarot channel. I loved how you are embracing it. Because I get so excited with very period comes. I celebrate I am still getting healthy cycles and that my body is changing. So looking forward to watch both channel. Love your work. Take Care....Happy New Year....We are 3.5 hours away from our New Year. Terri from Australia

I am a traditional witch wizard, . Traditional witchcraft is not wiccan. Came to the fore by cicill williamson in the 1940s and museum of witchcraft in cornwall, he was the curator at the museum. It is a folkroeic practice, different depending on location. No hard and fast rules. But a land based practice normally celtic germanic nordic viking. Tarot readings hebalism hedgeriding and green witchery can all be part of it. Not so squeky clean as wiccans, where they do both dark and white magic if the need Rises. They were cunning folk aand goes bock to druid and ancient roman britain.

I believe everyone is a witch and that even having the idea of "traditional witches" is too rigid in itself and suggests there's only this ONE way to do things and that you must follow that ONE way. Which to me cuts off my spirit, my power, automatically-if I feel trapped like that.

You did not live with a shaman. Which specific Native American tribe did you stay with? What was their word, in their own language, for medicine woman? It wasn't 'shaman'. That is a word specific to the Tugunsic language from Siberia and as such would not be part of Native American languages. The word 'shaman' was stolen by white men who had no cultural understanding of what it meant and they then applied it to the practices of different Peoples that THEY decided were the same. Even for the Turks, shaman only meant one particular type of work. By using this word instead of the correct and appropriate word from the specific Indigenous Peoples you are talking about, you are continuing white people's erasing of Indigenous groups and our colonising practices,

Nobody owns the medicine. Nobody. The Mandan/Shawnee woman I lived with taught me this word at 19. She explained that it meant "one who walks between the worlds." Let us all grow into seeing the heart of one another. May our eyes be open to unity and not led by the stories that seek to divide us. May we honor the beauty in one another. May we seek healing where we need it and never put our wounds on another. Nobody owns the medicine. Nobody owns the magick. The medicine is in our hearts. It's in our bones. It's speaks from within and on the wind. Our ancestors teach it from beyond, calling us ever deeper into the Mysteries that words can not teach. May peace be your guide, wisdom your friend, love abide in your connections.

@@naturalwitchery It's not about who owns the medicine. It's about the WORD you use. Doesn't matter where you learnt it. Using it when you aren't of that People is coloniser behaviour. What is the Mandan/Shawnee word for what she did?

Question # 8 - Like I said I'm a solitary witch and so it's really up to me if I want to talk about magic to people and certain things I think should be secret like how you said your spells and who you tell that your a witch to so yes secrecy is a good thing in my opinion

Question # 5 - I can't really remember the websites I looked on except for one and That was Wikipedia and as for the books I got every book by Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland's complete book of witchcraft and yes I would tell people that they should read them but I would also tell them to follow their intuition and not believe everything in them books unless they wanted to follow Wiccan traditions

Question # 6 - As I said I started reading Wiccan books but that was all that was around at the time where I live at and to be honest it's all that's around where I live now still but I can find so much more online now than in the past so I have read books on pretty much every open religion besides Christianity but I was raised in church and I am still dealing with the trauma of having to do that
