Okay let me break it down to you ..I am a nurse and I had an affair with the doctor who was living with someone else I decided that this relationship was no longer healthy for me so instead of me being a typical woman and cussing him out I broke it off very nicely and told him that I wanted to move on and that I wasn't getting any younger and I had to be realistic about everything I told him I hope that he found someone that can treat him the way he need to be treated ,I told him I hope you find someone that can make him happy..I know he only treated me like a booty call I didn't feel the need when I decide to move on to make that into an argument and tell him everything he wasn't doing for me because I understood he knew damn well what he wasn't doing for me. I realize it was my fault . because I liked him and allowed the situation. I just decided to break away and move on.this man started calling my home he decided one day to call me at 7 at night and started asking me about my new man my life he asked me did I love the new guy and how was he different from him. I told him at the moment he's (the new guy) is very nice guy he told me can I consider him if it doesn't work out this man was living with somebody else and I was nothing but his booty call so he was having an affair me and treated me taking me for granted. he had the audacity to tell me if it didn't work out could I consider him I just listen to I shook my head on the phone.. he kept calling me asking me can I take you out to dinner he kept calling over and over and over and over again I told him I wanted to concentrate on this new relationship and I felt that it was unhealthy to continue interacting with him.he started telling me that he cared for me more than what he realized and he didn't want me to go he said he loved me and he did not realize it until I left.. seems getting in the other relationship made him want to hold on..he told me to please give him a chance to show me ..I will spend more time with you..etc.. he was a general surgeon - trauma surgery...I believe his ego was bruise that I walked away. and after I made it clear that I no longer wanted to be with him or interact with him he called me again one night and told me very sincerely nobody's ever told me the way I told him he said nobody's ever did told him so stern and yet so consideritly...i guess he knew he was taking me for granted..I guess I made him feel very small I guess I made him feel very guilty because I was very nice about it I was very humble about it when I walked away I felt there was no need to tell him what he was not doing when he already knew what he was not doing there was no need to tell him about this relationship is not anything cuz he knew he didn't value me in the relationship so when I walked away the only thing was he was expecting that that's what made him feel guilty .he knew he deserved to be cusssed out I did not. The last thing I said to him was .. I dont want you to feel uncomterable around me .. we are good.. After that he would come to my area , and talk to me. and he kept asking me did I love the other man..ssh. I never respnded. He kept asking to give him another chance. I never did .. I married the other man.. when he found out that I was getting married he saw me at work and asked me to come out side , to talk. He cried and and said..I did and still do love you.. I never showed you , never had time for you... like I should have .. I let the right one get away...Im a fool .. I know you and I could have been happy.. I know the guy that chose you will be.....Ive been married 16 yrs .. I came across him last year . he was married , and smiled and said to me .. I just could not see you ...the way you needed to be seen

This makes me feel like women have to do all the changing. I was dumped because the guy said he didn’t like the arguing. Neither did I, but he failed to take responsibility for his actions that helped initiate the arguing. Our last argument he actually said that I wanted him to respect me, and that was very true. Why do men treat other women better than the woman that is with him? He was always wanting to impress others and would jump out of his boots to help other women. Why can’t they love, adore, and respect the woman that is by their side? I’d rather be alone than walk on eggshells because he refuses to communicate or acknowledge me, and stand up for me. By this time in my golden years I should be wiser, but my understanding of men and what they truly want is still a mystery.

If he dumped you once, and he came back, dont come back. He dumped me and came back and after 2 yrs he did it again. For what reason ? Because he said that he is falling out of love from me. So lesson learned. If they did it once, they will do it again. Move on. Focus on yourself, your family and your friends. It is tough but when you started to realize that you deserve so much better. NEVER GO BACK.

Mine came back almost 2 years later after I finally felt free from the devastation that breakup cost me and I was able to date again. He somehow felt it, they always do. I believe that, it truly happened on me, and I believe that no matter we expect him come back or not, we should still love ourself first, make us the better person and just let go, trust that if it’s meant to be it will be.

I think that if they come back after a lot of time (with come back i say VERY CASUALLY, like you meet them casually and things like that) when you both feel better it means that it was meant to be. Everything that is for you will always find a way to come back to you.

3 months broken up and 2 months NC. He blocked me on fb msgr (but stayed friends) and my mobile number right after the breakup. He defriended me on fb after 1 month right after I posted pics of mt vacation with friends. My ex is stubborn and my 1st attempt to reachout was on the 45th day of NC. I txted using my own number and used my 2nd fb msgr acct which he apparently did not block. He never responded to the txt until now which i am guessing i am still blocked and the fb msgr chat was never seen. Got frustrated. I did not panic. Went back to NC. I dont hurt anymore but I miss him every single day. It is hard but i will jst let the universe do its will. Tomorrow ill be starting a new job with the field im passionate about. This is my start to self love. One day a time. If he comes back or doesn't, i know i will be in a much better position. I will be happy either way. Thank you coaches. ☺️

Dimples dela Cruz: Oh he will try and come back. It's emotional cruelty and do not allow someone to treat you this way. It's very disrespectful to treat someone this way. I would not invest in a relationship with someone who play these mind games. It's natural to hurt but you will get over it. I would block him on every social media account and delete his number. He will see that you've blocked him and that you don't care to see how he's doing. A person like this don't deserve the attention they're not worth.

No lol I have one exception and it messed up my return rate 😂 Idc though. I just came in because I wanted to answer the question in the title. They not always come back. But that’s ok. Don’t seek validation on it and don’t let this dictate your self worth. Changing for someone that is no longer part of your journey is self destructive. Waiting for someone who left is a waste of time. Blessed them with love and set them free. Let go. Life will bring you someone awesome when you are ready. Just get to work on yourself hard!

I dumped a guy 2 weeks ago. He was draining me emotionally mentally. ..im a very spiritual person people energy can drain me ..He was 2 critical 2 judgmental.taking bad about his ex gf how poor they are ...Put me down 2 ...i didn't say anything ...i hold back.. he laughed in my face that i dont have car hosue ..that i dont have life like he has. . And there is reason why i live like that... and he doesn't know...he judged me way to fast. After few months i dumped him. I had a “friends with benefits” kind of thing going on for 2 years. Ofcourse, I fell in love. He didn’t want a relationship. Okay please read this if you’re desperate as i was and crying all the time, thinking and wondering if he will come back and what if he will find someone else better that me and what if i was’t the best girlfriend and the last thing he will do is come back. I know, i was there too. I was so desperate that i stoped eating and i was crying all the time, also i put my school on the side and now i have so much to work to do. And after i watched every video, i was searching for comments where people wrote their experiences and HOW LONG WILL HE NEED TO COME BACK BECAUSE I CANT LIVE WITHOUT HIM. and all i found was poor souls writing that they never came back and they are still in no contact and it’s already more than 3 months. I was like nooo i can’t wait that long and all of this thing. I want YOU to know that there is enormous possibility that he WILL COME BACK. MY EX CAME BACK AFTER ONE WEEK. AND YES IT’S POSSIBLE AND IM NOT THE ONLY CASE. People who was lucky enough as i was don’t write comments anymore. They are to happy and they leave that behind so that’s why there is 99% of cases that have sad story and their exes haven’t came back. So please stay positive, don’t cry all the time, PLEASE DON’T OVERTHINK. My boyfriend for example did all the thing he knew i didn’t like and that i was scared about just for making me jealous. He didn’t have bad planes, it was just to hurt me and that i will be pissed and start writing him things about that and he already didn’t like that about me(jealousy). Also let me say that he was so sure about break up that i was sure that he meant it. And when he came back he told me that he was angry than and he saw only bad thing about our relationship. THAT IS WHY YOU NEEEEED TO LEAVE HIM ALONE, to find out what is like to not having you and that you don’t react out for him as you did. Leave phone alone, don’t stalk him because you will make scenarios that don’t even exist. You will think for the worst one. PLEASE BE POSITIVE AND HAPPY. If you had healthy relationship he will soon found out what you meant to him and what he had. And do no contact. Its the best you can do because if you don’t let him experience what is like without you he won’t have a need to get you back. Now smile and be the best version about yourself. And work on things that you’re not proud of and are hurting your relationship.❤️❤️❤️

I know why he dumped me cause I did not want to move in with him. He claimed to love me so much but he wasn’t willing to wait until we were both ready. True love guess not? 🤷‍♀️ He said move on.

I hope my ex comes back. He broke up with me about 3 months ago and we work together very closely and he looks so happy and acts like we weren't together for three years. It hurts my heart every day to see him. I want us to work on our relationship and honestly I wasn't the best girlfriend but I was never awful and there was never any cheating and we never yelled at each other. I did cry a lot because of my anxiety and my own insecurities and I think that's what pushed him away but I have been working on myself and trying to show him I'm changing. But right now he doesn't seem the slightest interested in getting back together 😭

I often wonder how there are so many relationships in the world with such immaturity going on .. I do believe most relationships work bec one person is getting their own way and the other is just giving in .. how many real relationships are based on true love and respect prob very few

Sometimes their ego don't allow them to no matter how much they want to. Sometime they are too prideful to go back on their word even if they made a mistake or wrong judgment

Once you accept an ex again he would realise you are just a door mat and he can screw up anytime and still come running to you and instead you would be losing your worth to him so don't ever make the mistake of letting any ex in your life again,it doesn't work .

I just don't get it. that's a pretty messed up game and since it's a constant "challange/chase" game bullcrap then how does love even exist? love needs to be equally given and taken and I can not always be a challange. Yes my man came back and he wants now a casual relationship with me as he has to deal with some emotional baggage and also he has to stabilize his career. This happens with many things in Life! You don’t know what you had..until you Lose it! I had a wonderful relationship with a man for two years and it was so easy..but then things started getting more complicated. I started checking out other men and then he left me. He married someone else and is miserable and I could never find anyone else. We were both idiots!

26 days of No Contact he came back. Neither dumped the other, it was a case of me saying to him go sort his life out and when he can step up and be the man I want to call me.

So a quick look at my situation: my ex is 24, I’m 27. We were together for almost a year and now we’ve been broken up for almost 8 months. I didn’t do any of the bad responses such as begging or pleading. Tried keeping my behavior calm and I know I’ve done pretty good at that and being positive. I’ve been in no contact for a little over a month now and I haven’t seen much activity from him except a little more recently. There’s a girl I think he’s been talking to the last few months but he hasn’t made her known on any of his social media which makes me believe he’s not taking her seriously. He made me known pretty quickly on his social media after we started dating. We’ve also talked about getting together in that time as well so, but he’s doing online classes on top of work and school so I believe him when he says he’s busy 😅 I honestly think our break up is starting to hit him because maybe life is slowing down a little bit? But if it’s true that they come back, what is a good and constant reminder to tell myself as I heal but also want to be with him?
