Glossy vs half-glossy which one is better vision? what is your opinion? I have Aorus 4k FO32U2, but iam thinking to buy this Asus. Let me help. Iam 4k lover.

we need more monitors with both glossy and matte versions so everybody can have the preferred setup. spread the word for manufacturers to see that there's a strong demand for glossy.

The tone shifting when scrolling in KZread is actually a Chromium issue with how it handles ICC profiles. It applies color management to all content, except for videos when they're playing. For some reason scrolling briefly enables color management on a video, until you stop. It's not this monitor's problem, I've had the same on a MSI MPG 271QRX. Perhaps it doesn't apply to your LCD, because for some reason it doesn't detect its ICC or something, who knows.

@@TotallydubbedHD It happens in Edge, because it's also based on Chromium, it uses the same color management code. It probably wouldn't happen in Firefox. As for why it doesn't happen on other monitors, I'm not sure! Maybe Windows didn't load their ICC profiles correctly, I dunno. I'm not an expert, just wanted to let you know I've seen the same thing happen on a different monitor. :D

Hi, how are you? I have a problem if you could guide me. First, I don't know if the nvidia app beta is the best for this monitor or do I use nvidia expirience? Second, is it advisable to use Windows HDR calibration? I used it and it worked very well with shadow of the tomb raider in hdr, but when playing tomb raider (2013) in sdr it looked horrible, very yellow, especially the skin, this could be the fault of the nvidia app beta or the configuration of windows 11 hdr? I use nvidia app beta or nvidia experience, and do I configure HDR with Windows 11 or not? thank you so much!

Great video man! On an unrelated note, i plan to buy the aw2725df but i want some good hifi speakers to go with it. I watched your video on the s1000w and was planning on going with that. But i just want to ask your opinion, if theres a better alternative for the same price range.

Love your videos. I ended up getting this monitor over the MSI Oled I’m loving it so far! I just had a question I noticed this monitor has a menu option for variable refresh rate. I’m assuming this is adaptive sync. Would you recommend leaving this on or off for competitive fps?

@@simcityfresh thank you! Personally I have VRR (and yes it's adaptive sync) disabled to get the lowest input lag and the highest frame rates/better frame times.

7:40mins in, you CAN use VRR on console over 2.0 with ps5/series x as it’s only 1440p.

Unless for very very special situations, VRR won't work unless you don't have V2.1. Didn't work for me when I tried. What tells you it can?

I've not received any additional comments from Asus, however, someone in the comments section fo this video mentioned it could have been due to a colour profile being loaded on Windows (thus not monitor related); see recent comments.

Can someone PLEASE tell me if this monitor gets firmware updates? I can't find information anywhere. No usb-c

Its still trash with old subpixel structure... I almost bought it...

At 1440p mini-LED is the way to go, no need to waste money on an OLED that will burn-in in 3 years tops.
