After 10 matches this season I made it clear to some of my friends that Enzo is not a team player. He lacks alot of teamwork. Chelsea always struggles in a match Enzo starts. But the way he was rushed to start arsenal match baffled. U did well against everton without Enzo. Why not continue with the same winning team, u went back and rushed him to starting lineup. If the coach keeps forcing to be the team on Enzo surely he will lose his job and Chelsea will keep losing.

He didn't have a hernia at the start of the season and we were poor. Since he went for his operation, we have won every game bar Villa in which we were robbed. 75% win rate without Enzo says it all. Look how Caicedo is playing. Enzo slows us down and is better suited for Spain or Italy regardless of his price tag or fact he won the WC.

Enzo would be a great player if he is playing for ManCity, Arsenal, Barcelona or Leverkusen. Chelsea need to keep Enzo and sign more skillful, silky, tekky, creative, tiki taka capable players. Enzo would play a lot better if he is surrounded by technical ballers who love to play teamwork short passes. Chelsea’s boring, hoof the ball, kick and rush, anti football is the problem. They need a change.

@@thierryhenry674 Teams dont need to play tiki taka to be successful bud, Real madrid dont always play one touch attacking football, they mix it up tactically, and sometimes they even go direct with long quality passes into the channels. Enzo is a good player, but he is definitely overrated due to that world cup win. During that world cup, you could of stuck any half decent midfielder into that Argentine side, and they would of still won.

Enzo is the one player who has performed from day one with no premier league experience. Winning MOTH and being the one with most successful passes and possession, ppl are chameleon the forget! Such a lazy take. The difference was inverting Cucurela not Enzo not playing. Proof isbin the first half of the Aston Villa match we were 2-0 down but Poch made that tactical switch in the 2nd half and we haven’t looked back. If we made this switch with Enzo still in the team we would be even better imo.

I think it’s best to reserve judgement until he has recovered from his hernia surgery. Hernias can be pretty debilitating. From my understanding he has been dealing with it from the start of the season. If that is the case, his performances this year shouldn’t be scrutinised too heavily.

I have absolutely no doubt about Enzo. He will be a top top top player. One of the best in his position. I do think that potentially Enzo needs to hold and build up more. Caicedo should be box to box driving 8. Basically switching rolls. Enzo is amazing and secure as a first receiver and controlling the tempo of a game. Defensively Caicedo is better at destroying the opposition build up from the blind side i.e. when retreating back into position. Both can do it all, but that’s their 2 major strengths. I also agree you can’t drop Gallagher for Enzo as things stand. Good points to bring up Rory.

I don't think all three in the midfield can work I think only two of the three can. they all are a little too similar to each other so I think the third in the future should be Palmer or Nkunku.

the change with caicedo is that he has been given more of a role in the midfield and at times plays higher and can influence the game. he is an 8 imo, he plays that for his NT
