    As a Black-American in the U.S., I do not harbor any negative feelings towards White-Americans, nor have I generally encountered negativity from them. However, some in the black community take issue with my libertarian-right leanings, my engagement to a white-woman, my manner of speech ("talking-white"), and the fact that I'm financially doing quite will compared to most of them. It's my observation that if one is too immersed in mainstream media and social media, it becomes easy to get drawn into a racially charged narrative.

    I'm 74 years old, I've observed race relations in the 60's and now, racism today is blown way out of proportion by the MSM and democrats, it's hard to effectively label someone a racist without promoting widespread racism. I have many black neighbors and friends and we respect each other and get along fine. If you interact with other races you find that racism is exaggerated by groups promoting an agenda. Thank you, Steven.

Black lady, same age group, recently moved from NY to S. Fla. We hit it off right away and our doggies are now best friends, she's a full blown democrat and probably loves Joy Reid, it wouldn't surprise me. We have very spirited discussions every so often, she hates Trump and totally believes what she hears from the media. Sometimes, it's a second away from yelling at each other. However, when an emergency pops up we know that either one of us will walk over glass to help the other. It's definitely the media trying to drive division and make racism a reality.

    I'm 65 and I'm surprised and disappointed at the apparent animosity between the younger blacks and whites towards each other these day. But it all boils down to how our own encounters are initially with each other. As a 17 y.o growing up in an all white area of a Dallas suburb my first meaningful encounter with a black man was my senior drill instructor in the Marines. This guy was so squared away, tough but very fair and caring, that I was implanted with expectations of how good black men could be. And working closely with many blacks in the Corps and rooming with several I was able to shed most of my prejudices I had from my Texas upbringing. When I returned to Texas after many years I was a bit shocked to find out some of my old high school friends, though college educated and successful professionals, were still in that old bigoted mindset. We really can do better.

    I'm 67 so I lived through the Civil Rights movement, although I was a teenager for most of it. I was raised by a father who, even though worked with many blacks, was somewhat racist. So even though I had very little exposure to black people I developed a predisposition about blacks just based on things I heard from my father. It was not until later in life when I went to live with my brother that I had my real first exposure to blacks and the black culture. My brother worked with black folks in the Rouge Plant in Detroit and had many black friends who he hung out with and brought home. He even adopted a little of the black culture himself in the way he spoke and dressed. I recall being scared and uncomfortable the first time he brought some of his black friends home. I remember thinking my brother was fricking crazy and was going to get himself killed. I look back on that time now and laugh to myself. My brother just saw people for who they were. He was raised by the same father, but was his own man. It taught me a very valuable lesson. I learned to judge people on their own merit. I learned to not listen to others or judge someone based on their appearance. My brother is no longer around for me to thank him for that lesson and it took me years to realize I had even learned it from him. Later in life when I took to working out I became a member of a gym near my work and went there every morning 3-5 tines a week for over 10 years. It was a predominantly black gym and I was the token white boy. I made some great friends in that gym and miss them to this day now that I am retired. We talked about everything and anything I never felt out of place. There was none of that N-word crap though like you see and hear so many blacks use now - which I dislike. I never heard that from any of the guys I hung with...even if I went to their houses, which I did, for parties and such. That is a more recent phenomena and one I think does a disservice to blacks and the black community. And I will end with that !!

    Yup right on point. People these days are basically trained to feel a certain way about just about everything, instead of MSM reporting events and news straightforwardly and letting citizens decide what to make of it, they tell you what happens (which is often very exaggerated to look a certain way) and tell you how you're supposed to interpret it and how you should feel about it, and if you don't follow that then you are the problem, you're evil and you're wrong, even when later on you are proven right for not buying into their rhetoric *cough *cough COVID jab efficiency. And now they have created an army/cult of followers who mimic their messaging and rhetoric all over the world and on social media who uphold this rhetoric and make sure that the "non believers" face real world consequences for going against their indoctrination system by having you publicly ridiculed being labeled as all the -ists and -isms and try to destroy your reputation. These people are trained to stay away from and shun the non believers which lead to so many people losing freinds and family members to a point where it divided people and the two sides couldn't even be friends with eachother because these beliefs became their whole entire identity, and the woke mob would risk being labeled as traitors and all the other buzzwords just for associating with a "non believer". That's why you have everyone tip toeing around everything all the time, no one can just be their authentic self and talk about how they really feel because they don't want to get blacklisted and become pariahs. It's crazy times were living in, watching how things changed so much in the last decade is astounding, but you can see signs of how this came to be long before that too. I do feel like I'm seeing an ember forming of people getting sick of things being this way and people realizing that they've been brainwashed that will hopefully lead to a huge flame of change in the right direction. Hell the rapper YG who made the song "F*ck Donald Trump" back around 2016 announced a few days back that he would be voting for Trump in this election. If that's not at least a hint of what's to come then I don't know what is

    Candid and unedited conversations like these are needed to hear what the average person thinks and feels about society and the nation. Very refreshing to hear the raw takes from individuals who have nothing to gain from speaking their mind.

  • @LuckiestManAlive

    @LuckiestManAlive

    I disagree that this is an accurate representation. It isn't. The problem is, too many people watch an "interview on the streets" and assume that there's a 100% genuine conversation being had. The truth of the matter is, we all have to be careful about what we say when a mic is in our face. And the average person who knows that their beliefs might be offensive to the general public is smart enough to keep their mouth shut. Let's not forget that Crowder admits to having a conservative bias when it comes to creating content. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, btw. My point is, it might be a bit naive to think that every black person Crowder speaks to makes it on to his platform when he does these segments.

    Oh boy... so unedited can apply to more than just cherry-picking the participants that they want to use in the video. Never said they don't omit interviews. Unedited can refer to the ask and answer with no cuts or edits between the question and the participants' reply. Unedited means raw takes of the question and answer. Not spoon feeding softball questions to someone with prepared answers on a note card. Now, if people want to be contrarian mouth breathers in the comments and downplay what the video is, enjoy. But I was comparing and contrasting this format against what mainstream media puts out. Now, have fun feverishly typing replies that aren't really on topic with the original post.

    The hair thing is an example of the “racist” accusations that have always bothered me….because there’s no way any black child would see that as related to their skin color until an adult taught them to perceive it that way. Look, I’m not downplaying if you are black child, feeling like an outcast among a lot of white children. But that’s not a BLACK issue. It happens anywhere-race,gender, culture, religion, etc. And black props need to stop believing the lie of touching or being curious about someone differences like hair as being a “micro-aggression”. I have had 4 people inappropriately address my hair and 3 of them were black. The first was in 6th grade when a black girl realized I had gray/white hairs and was asking if she could pull them out (we were NOT friends)….but it made it clear I was different, it didn’t feel good and I know she might have experienced white kids doinv to that with no racist intentions…just ignorance. The other was a ditzy white girl complimenting and touching my hair when I got the tips dyed…and the other two black kids were putting me down, asking me why I did that…. I’ve seen plenty of white goth kids have people think it’s okay to touch their dreads or whatever…. Portraying this as a race issue (which it’s not) doesn’t help in correcting the problem.

    My son is half Chinese as his mother ( my wife ) is Chinese. She's from Shangai, doesn't get more mainland Chinese than that. She taught him Chinese both written and spoken and I as a French Canadian have taught him French both written and spoken. His first language is English because we both wanted to be able to communicate with him properly before teaching him another language. That being said, he's now fluent in 3 languages and he is very close to both the French quebecer's culture and Chinese culture. However, he doesn't get along with Chinese kids whatsoever and by kid I mean teenagers. They call him a banana ( yellow on the outside, white on the inside ) or an ABC Chinese ( asian born in canada ). Even though his mandarin is perfect and even though he goes to China with us every year and even though he speaks perfectly Chinese, he does not get any appreciation from Chinese people. Elders do however, elder Chineses are always so happy to see him embracing this part of his culture but not the younger generations and especially not the teenagers his age. However, I have yet to meet a French Canadian making fun of him for being mixed or calling him Chinese. They accept him as being mixed and they get along with him just fine. Elder French canadians are happy to see him embracing his French heritage and are asking him how close he is to his Chinese heritage. This shows to me that whites are accepting him as being a mixed person and are genuinely concerned about him connecting with his Chinese heritage whereas the Chineses are rejecting him because he is half white. And I'm supposed to believe that there's such a thing as asian hate here? Only asian hate I've witnessed so far was from Asians themselves and it truly makes me wonder what have I ever done to them for them to hate my skin so much that they'd also reject one of theirs. Best part is that we were concerned when he was a baby that he'd be rejected by whites because that's what the medias are constantly projecting.

    @@michaelr5606 ? Nope. Statistically Black Americans think being white is NOT ok. Meaning the plurality of black Americans think having white skin is inherently evil or wrong. FBI statistics prove black AMERICANS (Only Black Americans not Black Africans etc) Go out of their way to attack white people per capita when compared to any other race in the US. That should be statistically impossible as whites are the majority yet we're third down the list of targeting based on race after Hispanics when population per capita is taken into account. if white people were even close to these stats and poll numbers you'd be flipping shit calling the entire country "White supremacist" etc. But sense it's black people no one cares and we pretend "Oh yes the majority of black people are angels!" despite the Decades of video proof of them rioting for literally no reason all the time every year for the past twenty years. Unlike you I grew up in these neighborhoods, where I grew up it was Known as "Black town" and no not because some KKK member called it that, the Black people called it that. Reason I know this? Being beaten for "Playing basketball in black town" by a GROWN ADULT when I was 11. I'm sick and tired of all this pretending that black people aren't overwhelmingly overtly racists. It's literally in the FBI statistics for ALL to see. The polls show the majority of black Americans dislike white people or view them negatively based on just their skin color.

    The man at 20:02 says how he has to interact with people in different areas. I do the same as a white persona. I speak to people in wealthier neighborhoods differently than I do in other neighborhoods. One neighborhood I say hi how are you folks doing today? Vs in another I’m like “Yo what’s up brother?” It’s not as much race as it is culturally bound and me as a person needs to adapt to what’s comfortable for the neighborhood I’m in. In the wealthier neighborhoods I have to present myself in a manner that facilitates strength and respect and also in the other neighborhood. And that other neighborhood isn’t necessary poor but it’s culturally different and that has to be understood. I’ve been on skid row and that’s a whole new dynamic. Cause weakness will get you labeled as an outsider or worse. Just food for thought.
