I ask Jared Taylor about White American Identity

My name is Danielle Romero, and all my life, I have romanticized Louisiana.
Growing up in New York, it represented a place where I could step back the sepia-toned life of my great grandmother, Lola Perot, who died before I was born.
Now, it was time to go back to Louisiana--although I had no idea what the truth would be or what questions to ask---who was Lola really? Who were we?

As a black American whose multi-racial ancestry in America dates to 1675 & roots in the deep South I believe this gentleman made many great points. Whites as a group do have the right to be proud of their history, ancestry, and accomplishments. And looking at the state of our currently hyper-ethnic society there are many areas of deep concern that need to be considered & addressed. However I believe that in some parts of the country there might still be issues of acceptance of those who look "white" but are genetically of mixed race ancestry. Frankly I believe that the U.S. has reached the point where ALL immigration needs to stop except for extremly small mumbers of essential individuals. Those here illegally should be deported. Then a decades long period assimilation allowed to occur. Overall a very interesting an refreshingly cordial conversation.

America is a country of immigrants from its inception, not like china (that he mentioned), or most other countries. White Europeans where accepted into North America and even South America (e.g. Brazil) by the boat load. In some instances to ensure that whites remained the majority. As somebody with some Italian ancestry I can totally understand America's immigration policy favoring the Europeans who were already more similar to the Americans over the ones which were more different. Would I be born? I wouldn't be born if my parents banged on a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday or whatever; it makes no sense to look at a policy in hindsight and say it was good only if it led to the specific set of events that happened to lead to your birth. Fact is, the Dutch or Norwegians had similar cultural practices, understanding of how things are done and how people relate to each other, and their languages were more similar, meaning that learning English to a high level would be faster -- also the protestant background meant there would be less friction on arrival. Being personally offended that some of my ancestors might not be invited into the country is like being offended that I'm not invited to some random person's wedding.

The point that I think she was not getting was that there are ethnicities within racial groups. As an example, there is the general umbrella of Chinese, but there are different ethnicities under that general term. And there can be prejudices within one ethnic group against the other groups under one racial umbrella. So, the Anglo antagonisms against the Irish or the Irish against the Italians was not racial but ethnic. Sort of like Kenyans against the Zulu. It is not racial, but ethnic.

It's amazing how this is such a simple thing to understand when speaking of the Chinese but somehow anti-Whites will stretch their brains as far as possible to pretend not understand how this also applies to White people. I think it's feigned ignorance. Too much societal pressure on weak willed White modernists forcing them to work against their own self interests. This is a leftism problem that can only be solved through mass psychological awareness & radical transparency. White people need to be more aware of the ideas that harm them & future generations of fair skinned European humans.

I grew up not knowing anything of my heritage beyond my grand parents generation. I didn’t feel connected to any traditions. I’ve recently studied my lineage and have found that my ancestors came to the New World in the 1630’s to New Haven colony from the Netherlands. I’ve traced my lineage as far back as 1585 when my surname first shows up in written records. I’ve discovered that the part of my family tree that stayed in the Netherlands, the first sons of the first sons, still hold the title of Baron within Holland. Knowing these things gives more appreciation for my forefathers and makes more accountable to them in my actions in present day. They’ve allowed for me to be born within their lineage through their actions, without them I wouldn’t exist.

Anglo Americans were right to be apprehensive of Italians when they arrived because of the culture and language being so different..
