Excellent video, can’t wait to see your results already! I have a full beard with a couple of patches, it doesn’t really bothers me since I comb my beard in a way that completely hides the patches, Greg Berzinsky himself does the same thing with his patches, also in the meantime you can use a water/smudge proof eyebrow pencil and lightly fill the empty spaces with a shadow or drawing tiny thin lines if you have to go to an event or something and want a neat looking beard, it works wonderfully. Have a sweet one and best of luck on this new journey!

I am using 0.5mm roller for about 1 month and I can say that I see some results. My cheeks are patchy to almost no hair on some areas and now i got lot of new hairs. I use roller WITHOUT Minoxidil but I mostly use castor oil to moisture my skin after rolling. Edit: After about 3 months I see lot of new hair and some velus hairs turned terminal (black). Also I found that for best results for myself is to use roller every 2 weeks and in between I shave my face.

It works without question. I've been using the .5mm roller twice a week for two months in combination with beard oil with a little peppermint extract in it. Keep in mind, I'm not starting from zero. I already had a fully connected beard I just wanted to fill in a few patches on my jaw line and for it to be thicker on the cheeks. Anyone who is looking thicker facial hair or to fill in some patches give this a shot. Super easy to use.

: As you suggest, it would be reasonable to assume that since DHT stimulates beard growth, blocking DHT (with finasteride) would tend to inhibit its growth. In practice, this does not seem to be the case, i.e. we don’t find that Propecia has any effect on facial hair. The reason is not clear.

Will Finasteride Help You Grow a Beard? At the moment, finasteride is only approved to treat hair loss due to male pattern baldness. It most likely won't have any impact on your facial hair, as the follicles on the face aren't susceptible to DHT like the follicles on the scalp are.

  • @Leonhart_93

Drink lots of water, work out to increase testosterone production, dont trim it, give it a minimum of 3 months ideally 6. The shorter hairs on the cheeks will cover over more skin as they get longer. Minoxidil will work but can give you dry skin.

@@jim2268 Yeah, it's purely down to genetics. If you don't have hair coverage in the places you want, then working out will not do anything to change it, neither will dermarolling, neither will drinking more water, sleeping more, etc. If you didn't get signs of beard growth during puberty, or up to around the age of ~18/19/20 - it's not happening. One must use minoxidil to get the facial hair coverage they want. Plain and simple. There's no other way around it other than using steroids (but then you can't control where the hair growth while come from). 2x/day and you can stop when your beard looks the way you want it to. Yes, you will get dry skin. 4 hours after application, when the minoxidil has permeated into your skin, just rinse your face, and apply some moisturiser - problem solved.
