Do All Men Need a 750 Watt EBike? The Truth About Electric Bicycle Motor Sizes

Check out the ebikes in this video here www.sixthreezero.com/collecti...
A lot of men always seem to want the biggest of something and in the world of ebikes a 750 watt motor is the biggest you can legally ride on the street. But do all men need an ebike this size? Well, the answer is no, but many men may prefer having a bigger motor. The advantage of a large motor is hills will be a piece of cake, but a 500 watt motor will be sufficient for most men. Now, if you are over 250lbs opting for a 750 watt motor would be a good idea if you have a lot of hills you'll be riding up. But for most men a 500 watt motor will do great, especially since ebikes are limited to 20mph with the throttle and 28mph in pedal assist. So regardless of motor size, you can't legally go over those speeds. Watch along as Dustin gives his input on 750 watt ebike motors for men.

I am 250lb and I have a 318 watt ebike. I use the lowest power assist most all the time. I also have 3 fairly large hills before I get home. Just before the hill, I go to the highest power assist and pedal as fast as I can. While going up the hill, I down shift. Usually, I don't go below 3rd gear before I crest the hill. Still, this bike is powerful enough for what I need. Thanks for the video.
