Why are some people so annoyed about no one having a scouse accent. Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world so they are going to have fans all over. Supporting you local doesn't automatically make you a better person.

@@evanoshea1311 So by that logic, 80% of all the supporters of big clubs aren't actually supporters and you are only allowed to support a club if you re lucky enough to have been born in the city where the club is located at. This of course would lead to the fact, that every big club would be nowhere near as big as they are today. I ve been a Liverpool supporter all my life, I ve been to Liverpool and Anfield many times, I go there as often as I can, I ve been a club member for years, always give my voice for our chants until my voice is gone every single time I am at Anfield, I love the city, I love the people, I made friends there, it just feels like my home by choice. With that being said, I do live in Germany and now, because I wasnt lucky enough to be born in Liverpool, (according to your logic) I should stop supporting the club I ve been supporting for over 20 years with all my heart (I am 27)? Adding to that, I dont even have a local club in my region btw. The closest "known" club in my region is Mainz 05 and they wouldn't even be considered to be within the region I live in, not at all. I love Liverpool FC and Liverpool as a city. I would gladly move and work there for the rest of my life. That will never change only because my parents aren't scousers. You can't choose your parents nor your home. But you can choose your football club in my opinion. Once you chose one, you gotta stick to it, tho. Otherwise you are a plastic supporter imo.

you do have to keep in mind tho, you really can’t ever take what a player says in interviews as gospel. big players have PR teams and basically everything they say is to manage their PR. Salah has to say that because if he says anything otherwise, it could make for some big drama in the dressing room

Shame there are no local fans here. a club is much larger than just the football. it's the city, location, upbringing, community, culture. Having a group of people from South talk about something that they only experience part of doesn't paint the full picture. I'm not against non-local fans, far from it, but to represent the culture and club of Liverpool with Londoners just feels wrong, especially with the history of the North-South Divide. Contrast this video with the Newcastle one, it's night and day when it comes to representation. enjoying the content though, breath of fresh air in content creation for football

It’s genuinely really difficult for me to travel up and down the country to get to local fans to do these vids. Newcastle and Everton worked out because I was already there for the matches and had friends to stay in the City so i could film. Unfortunately with liverpool and man utd i couldn’t but i for sure want to go back and do some with locals too! Just need to get my bread up to do it 😂

This is going to be unpopular, but I think the atmosphere of clubs like Dortmund, Galatasaray, clubs in South America etc. that people constantly tout as better than Anfield are overrated. With those atmospheres, it’s at a constant level of noise with people beating their drums and the ultras chanting for the entirety of the game that it eventually just becomes white noise to players. Meanwhile at Anfield, a player can feel that the atmosphere isn’t that bad, but then all of a sudden feel like the earth is swallowing them once it gets loud. It’s why many legendary managers and players always say that Anfield is the best stadium they’ve been to despite playing in stadiums in South America or Turkey where the atmospheres are supposedly “better”.

I'm not sure you know. Gerrard was pure passion and was a leader of men when the chips were down. I think Hendo was just a professional guy who was a small part of a bigger puzzle. You could defo argue Hendo maybe fitting the mentality monsters mantra more, but we already had good leaders in the team from Milner, Virgil and Klopp himself. As a Liverpool supporter I laugh when some of these supporters thinks Klopp is that guy. What legacy has it done for Liverpool. He's got bad records in finals and title race.
