She would need to get that information from a paternal brother. Women don’t have the Y chromosome. Men are XY and women are XX.

My Dear many dark skinned don t realise, many hv Arab, indian, Ethiopian, Somalian etc mix. Being black or mixed should not be based only on skin tone. I have pure Black family as my mom was than I HV mixed family and mixed come in all shades, light, brown caramel, dark brown, same story in Jamaica infact throughout Africa. In west Africa many mixed baby's were born from starting of slavery ND after where did all those mixed children go to. We need to be real ND face up to the facts which we all know. The Europeans “confiscated” the biblical images, but the Mafa (spelling?) adapted the images as Mafa to make them more relatable? Since Jesus was Middle Eastern, perhaps the Europeans ALSO were merely trying to make the biblical characters more relatable? Just saying.

It's one thing to make Jesus look like you for relating one's self to him. It's quite another thing to obfuscate and confiscate the image of Jesus for the purposes of manipulating, deceiving, enslaving, colonizing, and massacring people, and condoning it because those other people groups don't look like the White Jesus you've created.

Middle East means North African. It was changed during the 19th or 20th century. As for the image of Christ, many believe that Pope Alexander VI commissioned Leonardo DiVinci to paint an image for worship since there were none and he used his nephew Cesare Borgia as the model for the painting. I don’t know if this is true however the Pope, DiVinci, and Borgia all existed.
