I took mine a few hours ago and passed! Just remember to always, always ALWAYS check over your shoulder. Don’t get too reliant on your mirrors. And go the speed limit.

I know its annoying. They sound tell them a block in advance, not a foot in advance. I think they do that for the driver to be prepared for anythin. They dont want to say one thing then they changed their mind at the end, but the driver said but you said this, which may frustrate the examiner by saying I know what I said. This might cause the examiner to dock off points or even fail the driver for questioning the examiner intentions. I hope that makes sense. God Bless.

Praying I get such a calm and collected examiner like that when I decide to take mine! Her demeanor seemed so pleasant from what I could grasp from this video. I'm 25 and hoping to get my license this year 😭 this is definitely my year of conquering fears. Wishing us all luck on our journies towards this! We can do it!

Fun story. My father failed his first test as a kid because he got out of the car and tried to fist fight someone during his road test because they cut him off during his broken U turn. 😂

Last week on Friday I took my test and before the test I was extremely nervous to where I was shaking. Once I got on the road with the instructor I felt so comfortable and confident that I was going to pass. Once we parked I passed, so moral of the story is to not over thing it, you’ll be perfectly fine.

Everybody I just took my test and passed! Make sure to check your mirrors. I actually got points taken off for checking too much but I’d rather have that happen than fail the test. Make sure to look over your shoulder and constantly scan. Also practice parking on the curb and going back into traffic as on my test I had to do that 4 times

I like when my dude ask the lady if she had on her seat belt @ 1:09 because a lot of drivers, don't ask that question. I would have gave him a few extra points for asking that thoughtful question on the test. God Bless.

Also when you see people that pass, that might not be their first time so dont worry, practice and try again, you can do it as many times until you get it

the test here is like 5-6 minutes long and consists of you driving in a big square... no parallel parking, no pulling up to the curb just gas, brake, turning, and merging you back out of a parking spot at the dmv (easy) you navigate the parking lot (easy) turn onto a highway, merge left, then merge into the left turn lane and end up in an intersection (easy) drive through a small trailer park come back out, and pretty much backtrack i get my learners permit tuesday and i figure it wont be too long after and ill go for the test already been practicing (on private property)

I take mine this Friday. I'm nervous but watching these Road Test videos alleviate the fear Update: I PASSED!!!! I was nervous as hell tho

I am SOOO happy I passed mines!!! I failed the first time I took it because I had a white male version of Karen and I was sooo disappointed and I was stressed out because I really wanted to get that out of my way as I am a very busy teen. But I took mines yesterday and I passed!!! I was soooo happy that I cried, I’m actually the first one in the ENTIRE family to get a license so it meant the world to me. If anyone is reading this and they’re about to take a license driving test, I wish you the BEST of luck!!!! YOU GOT THIS❤️

I love how at the beginning they were talking so much about how he drives but the whole entire time they didn't make a single comment nor afterwards did she tell him anything he did wrong or weird, etc. And I thought his stops and everything was pretty smooth like okay...?😂

mine makes me back straight up but not on a curb, and parallel parking isn’t full off of points for mine if we don’t get it. so i guess you can say we don’t do it.

HONESTLY.. like the one in Massachusetts makes you do parallel park, parking on a hill, three point turn and 50 ft back up.. we have the second hardest test out of all 50 states

Ebony Leonard no they take you around the city you appointed for, not everything is in the parking lot. mine was much quicker because of quarantine i assume

I just passed my drivers test in Tucson and it was so easy! Just had to do the three point turn and a 5 minute driving test that was barely on any main roads.

Just passed guys it is really easy

i took my first test today and i failed even though i’ve been practicing for weeks and watching the videos. It all depends on the place you take your test honestly and who your instructor is. My nerves got the best of me and I wasn’t even in my own car which made it worse. I’m planning to retake it again tomorrow at a different place where i already met the manager and instructor and felt so much more comfortable there and i know i’ll pass tomorrow with him. Pay a driving school and take the test there. I didn’t have to adjust my mirror or anything but I have to drive for 1 hour in the highway and around the street and I parallel parked. I lost 17 points out of 30

Test is tomorrow for me at 8:55 am. Hope there will be light traffic like there usually is in a Sunday morning

1st time I failed for going 12 miles under the posted speed limit (was very nervous), 2nd time I failed for going 5 miles under the posted speed limit (didn't know that would fail me as well), and now I have 1 more chance before my permit expires. I've been practicing at driving at faster speeds and trying to not take jerky turns (need to work on my deceleration too). After failing twice the edge is off and I feel less nervous, Inshallah I just need a bit more practice and these videos help me see my mistakes.

Update: I PASSED. it’s so crazy how it happened. Because originally I was going to take my DMV test at my hometown city which I’m very familiar with all the streets there residential and business. So I walk in at 1:40pm because I has my appointment at 2:40pm. I wanted to get there early because DMV is always known to take long. So my mom and I get there. And the guy told us that all behind the wheel test appointments are all going to be redirected and transferred to another city that was 17 minutes away from this local DMV I was at. And I was looking at my mom confused because I was not notified ahead of time at all. it was all last minute. So I was feeling anxious because this DMV has a reputation of being too picky and a lot of people don’t pass but I told my mom “ OK let’s not think negative about this. all things happen for a reason” so I quoted myself the verse ROMANS 8:28 “All things work together for good, for those who love the LORD”. And I got there handed them the paperwork and got in line for the drive test. And I was praying and praying in the spirit about may God bless me with a nice instructor and that I pass 1st time because my permit expires the first week of next month. But fast forward I passed 🎉. GOD IS GOOD. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS. GOOD LUCK TO GUYS ALL. GOD LOVES YOU. JESUS LOVES YOU. AND THE HOLY SPIRIT LOVES YOU. ❤

NYC has THE roughest drivers. You gotta stand your ground and have a good temper when driving in the city. This is coming from a person who lives in NJ. We have many speeders and people who were just lucky to get their license here, but nothing compares to drivers in NYC. I avoided driving there as much as i can. Its the train for me over there lol. But as for the test, long as you're focused and determined, and with a good amount a practice you'll do fine. Anxiety is ok. Just don't let it get the best you. Also might I add it also depends on what type of examiner you get. Some are more lenient than others. Meaning there are few who will put up with minor mistakes while others will fail you for minor faults. You can be a good driver and one might just be having a bad day. Just do your best. You can always retake it, and chances are you'll get a different examiner.

My road test is on July 28th. Getting my license is not an option do to needing a car for school :"D I hope I pass the first time. I have had around 9 hours of actual instruction this past year while also driving with some family. I have scheduled myself for an additional 12 hours before my road test. THE NERVES ARE REAL lol.

It wasn’t till my 3rd try that I got my license y’all can do it! Calm your nerves and focus you are gonna have way more difficult drives in the future going on trips with friends, this DMV test probably the easiest drive of your lives

Hannah Jablonka i passed it! i’m really happy! here are my tips for passing: 1) you always want to use the smog technique which is (signal, mirrors, over the shoulder check & go when it’s safe) 2) always remain confident don’t rush, take it slow if you have to! 3) always remember to use the correct signals for turning and parking as well, also if you’re backing up a specific direction make sure to use the signals for that as well! keep both hands on the wheel at all times, and at intersections yield to others if you have to. only part i missed was goint into uncontrolled intersections!

Mines august 19 at 11:00 AM I’m so nervous Edit: I PASSES, it was incredibly easy! and if any of you guys are having a test come up in the near future or even tomorrow, I believe in you!

passed my permit test on monday , got my driving test tomorrow!! update: i passed it: 2 errors only: i just imagined that i was giving a friend a ride home. Also chew gum it helps you relax. i was super calm

Just be prepared and your good took mine today and passed with only 2 mistakes

When learning, I had the issue of creeping out when getting the car going, specifically because I didn't want to have a lead foot and jam it, lol. Seen too many videos where people who do that, then go through a building! It took some time to find that sweet spot between not gunning it and moving at a pace to keep up with traffic.

March 1st !! Update: I passed it feels so unreal I was so nervous but you can’t let it get the best of you. Just stay calm and do everything you were taught .

I have my test 6/30/20 in Bakersfield, California I'm actually nervous and seeing these videos to help me out ,good luck for everyone one else taking theirs!

Been driving in Texas for a few years now. By far the most important thing is to practice, practice, practice. Do it often so you have muscle memory of where the front, back, and sides of your car are. I like to use the rumble strips that are on some highways to safely learn where my wheels are in comparison to my vision. After ~45 minutes to and from school for a couple years, I felt MUCH more confident behind the wheel because I put in the time and miles to get there. And don't stop improving after you pass your driver's test! I just bought a car with a manual transmission after driving an automatic for a long time, and it's forced me to get even better as a driver and pay more attention to what's going on. Even though there's more to think about, I feel safer than ever. If your test is coming up, you got this! You have to put in the work to become confident, but it pays off. :)

@@User-zt3jd like I said, just practice as much as you can. One thing that also helps with avoiding hitting things with your car is to always be looking where you want to go. If you aim your eyes towards where you want the car to be, you will naturally steer towards that point just a little bit.
