@@thesecretlifeofdene1510 basically all I had to do was show him that my car lights, honk, break, & signals were working. & then made me drive near a quiet neighborhood near the bureau for like 10 minutes. But I thought I almost failed because as we were getting out of a neighborhood, he told me to make a left but I signaled & almost turned to the right but quickly made a left since there weren’t any cars nearby. Thankfully he was nice & let me pass. Good luck to you!

I had my test today, my instructor was so chill it was unbelievable. While taking the test he taught me new things I hadn't seen, we talked throughout the whole test. He said for me to calm down and he knows I'm a very good driver, I was a bit nervous but who isn't. Anyways while driving we talked about cricket, countries, laughed, he taught me some key things like a better way to observe and etc. Before the test was done he said he already passed me because I did so well. If I ever become an examiner for the dmv i'm going to be just like my examiner. That was the key to passing. For anyone who has a chill relaxed examiner you got this.

I got my license a month ago! Lemme tell you, it is so scary at first but I promise you that it’s WAAAAY easier driving with someone you DON’T know versus someone you do know. It’s that peer pressure that ironically makes you focus. Think of it this way, if you mess up, you’re more likely to not care as much as messing up in front of an instructor because you know your SO, friend, family member, whoever is gonna fix the mistake for you. If you mess up in front of the instructor, that docs you a point and puts pressure on you to do your best :) at least it did for me. Always always practice even if it’s for 2 seconds, do it. The more familiar you get with it, the easier it’s gonna be. If you’re afraid of switching lanes, think about what’s scaring you. For me, it was not being able to multitask and forgetting about what’s in front of me. The solution to that is practicing your speed. Once you get speed down and know how fast you’re going (which you’ll eventually get a feel), then start working on switching lanes. Practice in an open area. Practice your head movements: back mirror, rear view, blind side. I have more tips if you guys want! I’ll post a video soon :) Good luck!❤️

So I failed the first time and had severe anxiety but I scheduled the second one somewhere else and it was so easy even if I was nervous. I really didn't think I'd get my license but I did. Everything is possible so just do your research and believe in yourself ❤ Keep trying.

Just passed my test today lets goo!!!, my tip is to never worry about your instructor marking sht down, do your best and always focus on the road, if you have the knowledge you will be fine, final tip is to never think about passing or failing, just focus on the road and you will do just fine,

I was so thankful the dude was understanding and easy going. I showed up an hour earlier than my appt and waltzed through the whole system

I just took my test for the first time today and I passed with only 6 points taken off. I was a nervous wreck before the test, but it’s important to remain calm and believe in your driving skills! Good luck for those of you who are going to take their test soon!

My exam day is May 11, 2021. I am so nervous. I gotta remember to just breathe and relax. Update: I PASSED!!! It was easier than I expected.

Passed my test yesterday! All I did was drive around the neighborhood, backed up, downhill parking and that’s all! I promise you that us literally all I did and then when I was done I parked the car at the end of the exam.

I remember binge watching ALL of the videos so nervous as my road test date came up and with only a solid week of practice with the help of my ma and pops. I went around the block and passed 1st try bro I was so relieved

Bro this is basically me 😭 apparently the road tests here are easy as crap so I should be fine. I didn’t have any proper training and I learned everything on here

Took mine Friday. Super easy I believe in each one of y’all just take ur time go the right speed limit check ur mirrors and shoulder and u should be fine

Passed mine 2 days ago and for some reason watching this haha, my advice is you will be nervous but it goes away once you get going on the road just keep reminding yourself safety first. Good luck to anyone going for there test :)

My first road test was May 21, 2021, which was yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't pass. It shattered my heart to pieces, but the good thing is that I have my second try on the 25th of May, which is in 2 more days. I feel literally nervous in the pit of my stomach while typing this, but I feel okay to a certain point while watching these videos of people following the rules correctly. The videos should help me feel confident within myself, but the good thing is that I'm going to practice with my mother until the 25th hits. I just need to work on turning into the closest lane instead of ending up in the middle, but just pray that I pass and have a nice driving examiner. To avoid hitting the middle, look where you want the car to go which is the closest lane. And your hands will coordinate/follow. And don't turn too late. Conduite Facile's channel is pretty good in teaching how to turn well. Best of luck. Mine is June 1st.

My roadtest is in 2 days, wish me luck! Edit: I failed in the parking lot after my roadtest was over, I was supposed to park in reverse and when I did, another vehicle approached me and the instructor automatically failed me because I was too close to the vehicle. Overall, the test was really easy and she said I was an excellent driver but unfortunately ended up failing just for a parking. You got this guys!!!

Passed my test in November of last year and it really helps when you have a chill examiner. Me and the guy I had were making small talk about football and common interests and it really eased the nerves. This being said all the nerves went away when I started driving. As long as you are prepared and not a unprepared driver you should pass easily.

Took my test today (1/2/2020) and passed on my first try! I took it at the Montebello DMV (California). I regret shitting bricks before taking the exam because it really wasn't that bad. As soon as you start to get the momentum, you will feel the confidence you need in order to get through the whole test. Just be confident, allowing your nervousness to take you over during the test will only harm you. Make sure to study these videos, these videos were a lot of help for me and it gave me the information I need in order to know what's going to happen during the exam. Make sure to practice as much as you can, you're going to have to get comfortable driving around in certain situations. I can sure you that you will pass your exam if you do all these things. @@jcudjcjdjfjc That's awesome to hear! The examiner that I had was really chill, I had a conversation with her as well! XD I'm sure all of the examiners there is chill, they all looked chill. The examiner will probably take you around the area near Lincoln Ave, just the general residential area surrounding the street. For example, places near Acuna Park is where you might be driving around. They won't make you drive in the major streets with a bunch of traffic I took it at 1:30, there was barely anyone out during that time! The test took around 15 minutes. You should be fine, don't sweat it.

@@jcudjcjdjfjc It really is. The area that you'll drive it is really easy to understand. The residential areas are more "grid like", which makes it easy to understand the roads. You should come out to the Montebello area to get a general idea! The examiner won't take you into traffic, and the speed limits are perfectly suitable.

My test was today and I passed only making four errors ! I have anxiety and was really nervous but I just did my best to concentrate on driving correctly and did fine. Just don’t make critical errors and make sure you had a lot of practice before the test.

So I did pass!!! I got a really nice instructor who was super happy and I was less nervous

Got my test in an hour, watching more videos in preparation. Pray that I pass.

I took my test today and failed because I was so nervous I didn’t think to let the right of way go at a light! It’s cool cause my next test is the 24th and imma pass it then!

Btw, if you're turning into the right lane or left lane, make sure the line in the middle of the road IS NOT solid, make sure IT'S DASHED. Like this: _ _ _ _ _ DON"T TURN WHEN YOU SEE THE LINES LIKE THIS _________________________________

I think I plan on taking mine in a few months and never felt so scared to drive in my life but I want to cross fingers we got this

I just passed with this exact same guy yesterday, I've actually heard he's everything but a chill examiner lol. He wasn't terrible with me though.

@@Auragold777 His name was Rick, but I've heard similarly of Rene as well. I've heard Ryan is the easiest and Rick/Rene hardest. Again, he was pretty chill with me, so just be confident and he'll be nice. Examiners eat up confidence.

When I took the drive test at Pasadena 6 years ago there was this black dude that got in, lowered the seats, pumped up the ac, and turned on rap music. Then just chilled there the entire drive test.
