I've been telling everyone for 3 months now that THIS Devon would beat Vitaly and beat him easy . So many people laughed at me. Vitaly has the great hand but his whole game isn't even close

Vitalys long levers seem to be a disadvantage sometimes, his wrist looks compromised before the match even begins against opponents with much shorter levers

I agree, most people mention the advantage of long arms, but from an engineering/mechanics perspective, it's easier to undo a bolt with a longer spanner than it is with a shorter one. In fact, the formula is F*D (force times distance) = Moment (moment is total displaced force that gets applied)

​@@aalmisry It allow you to gain hand control cause you have the height + the ability to chase or run on the sides. It's obvious when you armwrestle, it's much more complex than a pure single vector. But yeah side pressure wise, the way you think about it, it's better. That's why hutchings usually kinda lose his hand but win sideway still.

@@thedrew24 Vitaly always put Silaev up on a pedestal. He said he was the strongest man he ever pulled, and that includes Levan. Knowing how close the Russian pullers are, he may have decided to let Silaev get some attention. Not that Silaev can't defeat him, but maybe Vitaly just didn't care about this one and maybe he wanted Silaev to get the spotlight here. I wouldn't put it past him, because Vitaly will have tons of more opportunities. People didn't really know Silaev before this. At least not the casual fans.

I'm pretty sure he was off the gas for this one, and that's why the results were the way they were. I don't think he's always natural though. I'd bet none of the E. European or N. American athletes are natural. At least not in the SHW division.

Silaev was literally in prison for armed robbery lol. Before that he was going head to head vs levan innrhe zloty tur finals and beat Vitaly back in 2017 too

Yesterday in a Russian tournament

armwrestling community loves to rank up players for long term when they have not competed or proved anything. good exampl is Kurdecha who defeated Ermes and suddenly his up to Levan's level lol, that guy has not won any notable match besides that. Same with Vitaliy, who was solid number 2 in the world for 3 years, but he has not really competed to prove his rank.

i feel the same about Vitali as i do about Matt Mask,they both lack horsepower,put some more muscles on guys!!!

This just goes to my original point i made multiple times a couple years ago that ‘the just because Igor’s promotion is called “Top 8” doesn’t mean they are! All but 2 of the initial athletes to compete in round 1 of top 8 WERE ALTERNATES!’ They we’re all essentially ‘No names’ in the world of top Armwrestling. None of them, Levan included were in any Vendettas, or anything. They were just European athletes.
