DL Intro

Just last week, I hit my 3-year anniversary from being diagnosed with cardiac #amyloidosis. I was sick for two years prior to diagnosis, so to be feeling good in April of 2020 with my numbers in check, is incredible.
Over the course of this journey, I was committed to finding answers to allow me to heal and live. I implemented specific strategies in the areas of
1. Mindset
2. Diet
3. Exercise
4. Supplements
During my journey to find the solution, I learned a lot about myself and about what works and what doesn't... or I should say what did work and what didn't.
Now that I hit the 3-year mark and feeling healthy, I'm excited to share with those who have Amyloidosis what worked for me. I know those of you who have been diagnosed are scared. There is so much uncertainty and discomfort, it's easy to just quick. I know I had that feeling a couple of times. I'll be doing live webinars with Q&A for my amyloidosis community. Make sure you're follow me on my amyloidosis youtube channel for more info.

What organ do you have affected? What is your current treatment. They are doing a lot of research and soon a medicine will come out to clean the protein from damaged organs and our lives will change. Dr Gertz spoke of NEOD 001 that works in 50% of cases and in 2 or 4 months the organ improves. Good luck

@@Mega-ys9jj Yes, per @hamed2013, the NEOD trial was stopped abruptly. I was actually on it when the cancelled it. I had been on it for approx 8 months when the trial was pulled.

Great idea, Dan. Diagnosed myself one month ago at 75 years after a lifetime of sport and fitness, it has come as quite a shock. Like you, it took 2 years to come up with the diagnosis. I look forward to your new series and good luck in the future.

Alan, have you diagnosed yourself? You are a doctor?. I was 3 years old the same as Dan at 58 years old and after 3 wrong diagnoses. I think that it is not so rare what happens is that the doctors do not think about it
