Yeah, I got an NES, and it worked perfectly. (For NES standards, my dad freaked out about it though, and insisted we get a replacement after I wasn’t putting cartridges in well enough for a while.

This is a good acknowledgement, but the problems are deeper than this. Numerous videos show what condition these consoles are sent in, prices aren't anywhere close to being appropriate for the condition of these items. I work in a stores department in a big water tank company. We have many checks in place, when I’m picking the items each item gets photographed and once completed all photos uploaded to “team up” where someone will check in the office that it’s correct. In the stores department we also have supervisors that check off the items before going to final packing area. Also have a book with everything correctly shown on what to pick. With 3 things in place, we still have mistakes being sent out. It’s very hard to get 100% success rate.
