@@cccc-mj9wx first time piloting a drone this big in a city with people nearby is extremely stupid and also illegal in UE if you don’t have special license and special permission (of course he didn’t have both because we can clearly see unaware people nearby, that shouldn’t happen) , not sure if it’s allowed in that country but I doubt. the fact remains that it could be the first time with a drone this big but even with tiny dji drones the procedure to force the landing or arrest the motors are the same (I just checked the manual of this drone), so he is just MEGADUMB and he should not even think about piloting a drone anymore :)

The issue is that whatever those red pieces of cloth are, they are interfering with the downward sensors. He should just disable the sensors or put in “sport” mode to land the drone.

Yes, but this drone clearly had some malfunction, could be a motor failure (rare), a broken propeller or some system bug (also rare). But in this situation the retard ass pilot should have just arrest the motors: I have 2 dji drones and there is a simple command to arrest the motors in case of emergency, in this situation, it was really close to the ground so it wouldn’t have damaged and it wouldn’t be a high risk for all the people around. These propellers are huge and they can hurt badly if they detach from the drone, due to the high speed and centrifugal forces. They can clearly hurt even badly, if the drone (out of control) run into somobody INCOMPETENT PILOT, SHOULD BE SUED, you can’t joke with these machines

Just to add some context: At the end of the red string dangling down from the main body were originally 3-5 meter long chained up firecrackers 🧨 It’s mainly used to celebrate a wedding or chinese new year in front of some restaurant. Thats also why you see so much red scrap paper on the concrete, its from those 🧨 Either it was the remaining string blocking the sensors, pointed out by many. Or the explosions 💥from the firecrackers before😂

It's crazy these larger drones do not come with rotor protectors or (human decapitation protectors). I could not even imagine the damage done by those blades.. when I first flew my avata in manual mode I accidentally flew it into my face 😂 and even with ducts around the blades being a cinewhoop the blades were able to take a chunk out of my chin ... and that is what a 5" sub 500g drone... CRAZY

Pure stupidity, if the garage bag blocked the sensor you should know that on the screen. Its easy to land just switch to manual stabilize mode or any mode that dont use anytype of avoidance system and you will be able to land. Also emergency motor shut off as well. This guy should not handle any drone for sure if problem solving improvisation skill is this poor. All pilots should know how to read instrument and solve the problem even though the instrument failed.

There is definitely an error with the sensors. My problem with this video is that he is operating a massive drone in the city, which is strictly forbidden in most countries. If you ask me it should be forbidden everywhere. It is a killing machine!

It's crazy these larger drones do not come with rotor protectors or (human decapitation protectors). I could not even imagine the damage done by those blades.. when I first flew my avata in manual mode I accidentally flew it into my face 😂 and even with ducts around the blades being a cinewhoop the blades were able to take a chunk out of my chin ... and that is what a 5" sub 500g drone... CRAZY

I gather you don't understand these drones. See the crap on the bottom of it, that's messing the sensors up and he's not taking maual control it would seem. The idea the drone is somehow "dumb" is part of the anti tech panic and anti intellectualism. The irony is that the human component, that is the default in your argument, is the one failing to be "smart"

I think he is trying but is malfunctioning like most holystone drones they sometimes dont want to land and the motors in the nack keep spinning and the drone bounce or turn upside down

This is why I can’t fly fpv without putting a fucking remote ID module in my drone. Absolute disgrace to the hobby I’m sorry for anyone who sees this and begins to feel afraid of drones. When these people have access to a $20,000 drone they ruin the hobby for the rest of us and put fear into people. And unfortunately I can understand why the FAA doesn’t want people to have drones anymore.

Pure stupidity, if the garage bag blocked the sensor you should know that on the screen. Its easy to land just switch to manual stabilize mode or any mode that dont use anytype of avoidance system and you will be able to land. Also emergency motor shut off as well. This guy should not handle any drone for sure if problem solving improvisation skill is this poor. All pilots should know how to read instrument and solve the problem even though the instrument failed.
