Hey all, I just got my DJI RS4 and love it, but I have a question for you. Is it normal for the pan axis to have a bit of wiggle when locked(gimbal is turned off)? I only used it once so I want to know if this is normal or a potential problem. It’s my first gimbal so not sure what to expect. Thanks

Hi there, thanks for choosing DJI! The roll arm and pan arm levers of DJI RS 4 feature a special design. If the axis arm still moves when the axis arm lever is locked, lift the lever up, and toggle it counterclockwise to the unlocked position before lowering it down. Then, rotate the lever clockwise. Repeat several times until the axis arm is locked. If the axis arm cannot move after the lever is toggled to the unlocked position, you can use the same method to slightly loosen the lever. @@DJITutorials Thank you for the reply. My question was not referring to the arm lock but the motor lock (the small toggle on the side). Is a slight rattle/wiggle normal when the motor is locked?

If I balance the gimbal in horizontal mode, and then detach the plate and put it back vertically, do I need to re-balance the gimbal again before shooting?

I think you need to put videos with the correct titles in to the official DJI channel to make people's life easy. Videos and Titles like "how to balance Ronin rs4 & rs4 Pro" ,,, Thank you

Yes and no; tried it with a Galaxy S23 Ultra, the videos are soooo smooth as the phone also stabilizes the footage. The phone was impossible to balance by default so I used a camera battery as a counter weight. The other issue was that the mounting plate was in the frame for wide angle lens, so only normal and tele lenses could be used. In other words you will need a custom mount to balance the phone and make sure the plate is not in the frame...

The sound mixing is garbage in this video. The music is literally louder than the voiceover.

Mini 3 was a little to mini for my Canon R5 setup :( But im liking the RS 4 so far :)

Please remove the music from the video - this is a technical instruction. Any music is just distracting.

This has to be one of the worst instructional videos ever made.

I just bought the pro that was just featured here in the video I haven't used it yet but I have followed the tutorial on KZread and I love it I just love it this is a great gimbal thank you DJI hope in the future that you would make a universal gimbal that can also use Android devices and Apple devices like the apples smartphone 15 Pro on any size gimbal including that one
