It's debate time: 1080p, 2k, 4k, or 8k? which one is your go to?

Shoot 4k, export 1080p (in most scenarios) is the only correct choice.

Not a bad little review but I definitely would have loved to see more footage coming out of each camera in a more direct comparison. There are also so many features, from the internal raw to the expanded dynamic range that you didn't touch on. Also, what was the experiencing of holding this heavy heavy camera for an entire day's worth of shooting like? Filming your friend for an hour in her greenhouse doesn't really say much about what it's really like using this camera in a more real world scenario. You guys are Lensrentals, you have a literal warehouse full of gear, you could easily figure out a way to setup a larger scale shoot to really put these cameras through their paces.

Phil! thanks for always coming through on these videos. I hear ya and you've got some solid points here. I'm glad this video sparked your curiosity, and I hope you'll tune in for some more in-depth reviews and comparisons in the future. That being said if my back was already hurting a few hours in at the Greenhouse I can't imagine what it would be like for a full day on set 😭

@@Lensrentals Always happy to provide constructive feedback! Also ouch! That is the main thing that has me concerned about this camera. I had back pains from just using my Komodo on a shoulder rig for a few hours at an event recently... getting old sucks LOL! Well, if you guys ever need any additional feedback or help reviewing gear, I'd be happy to take some of that burden off of ya ;)

What's the best quality of footage if you don't buy the dji ssd, i really want to try the minimum version of this camera

you don't need an easy rig, they have the flex cable and backpack

Damn you guys are weak! With a DL lens, this rig is super light weight!
