Do the cameras with 1/4-20 on the bottom, also have magnetic mounting options and external batteries? It was one or the other.

1. There are water proof cases available. Or just get an Action camera. 2. Way points? You can set 4 Waypoints in Time-lapse mode. I'm not sure what the point would be in Video mode. 3. Fixed Gimbal? Get an action camera. 4. There's the small adapter for 1/4-20... You don't have to use the battery. Ask yourself a question, do the Pocket Cameras with a built in 1/4-20 also have a quick magnetic connection? Attachable batteries? Which would you rather have? 5. Exposure Lock? Have you not noticed the yellow square with the "sun" next to it? If you press and hold that it'll lock exposure. 6. 360 Rotation? It is designed to be carried around by a person and potentially set down for a quick shot. I guess that would be cool, but it's not as easy to engineer as you might think from your desk. It looks like a feature you might use once or twice and forget about. 7. Gesture Control? Voice Control? Hmm... not a bad idea but again you can control it from your phone and the Mic 2. 8. Rugged? Have you never heard of Action Cameras? Cases? 9. Screen as fill light? So you don't need to see what you're filming? You can get a fill light for $10 or use your phone. I'm not sure how this would affect the thermals of the camera, honestly. Not to mention battery life and screen life. 10. Drone Remote? Don't you have a phone? Use a game controller if you want sticks. The drone Remote use a different app and can't be side loaded. For what it's worth, on the RC Pro, you can side load the Mimo app and use it as a screen but the sticks don't work. These are some goofy "demands"... Why not make it fly or fix your breakfast in the morning? Yeesh... I sometimes wonder if some of you are the type of person that would buy a car and complain that it can't pull a boat or haul concrete. The more "Jack of all trades" you make a device, the more "Master of none" it becomes.

Your first point is bullshit. 1. The waterproof cases you are talking about, are making the image quality much worse and they have problems with reflections. They are also very big and ugly. 2. Not everyone can efford 2 cameras. Some people just want one camera. 3. It’s about weather proof. Some people are making videos in nature where it can rain. Not everyone is a fancy vlogger in a New York hotel. Your third point is also bullshit. Like I’ve said, not everyone wants to buy 2 cameras or carry around 2 cameras.

No one makes the "one camera to rule them all" you seem to be dreaming of and there's a good reason- It would probably cost around the same money as buying the Pocket 3 $519/ $669 Creator Combo and an Action 4 $299. That's not a lot of money. If you can't "afford" both, get the Action Camera or use your phone. Problem solved. "Carrying around 2 cameras..." really? Are you all so stupid that you can't determine what the weather will be or what activity you'll be engaging in before hand? Are you that weak that adding a camera that weighs 145g to your burdens will be the breaking point? Besides, who are these people or "creators" that don't already have an action camera? Sometimes, you all bitch about a product for no real reason. The Pocket 3 works as designed. Dry your tears.

@@hackedbyai So... someone blocked my original reply. What about points 4-10? The waterproof case idea is not a daily thing. If you don't know what you are going to do or what the conditions are going to be... Which camera to use is not your main problem. As far as the cost or inconvenience of carrying two cameras. Just get the Action Camera and forget about the Pocket 3. You obviously can't afford this hobby and/ or you're incredibly weak! The Action 4 weighs 145g and costs $299. That's not heavy nor expensive. Otherwise, just use your phone to capture content, it probably has a great camera and it's most likely water resistant. Bonus, you're already carrying it and it's already been purchased. Huzzah!!! Like I said, these complaints are goofy!

@@londenard you know what? I already have both cameras, the action 4 and pocket 3. But I wish to have just one camera. Regarding the weather you talk so much shit. I am doing nature videos. Sometimes weather can change. Should I never go out because it could possibly rain? Weather app is also not always correct. I bet you never go out… Just do your inside videos. Nature videos are not your thing.

Some good suggestions! Issue with 360 gimbal rotation is that this bit of kit has a fixed camera head connected by a small internal loom running through the centre of the gimbal so it’s impossible to do a continuous 360 rotation. Unlike other gimbals that you attach your SLR / mobile to that can rotate mechanically and freely 👍🏻 Good vlog mate 🤘🏻

DJI please bring back “Pause and recording “. feature

DJI should come out with a brother to the Pocket 3 with 50MP 1 inch sensor and 35mm FF eq. That way we can have 16-40mm range with the Pocket 3 and 35-140mm with the newer version, covering most focal ranges for video.

That last one... don't you guys have phones? If you need joysticks, use a game controller.

1. I think most of these changes can be done with firmware updates. 2. I think a "pro" version would include a second Mic 2 as a separate choice. 3. Personally, I wouldn't want to turn the screen into a light source, because then you couldn't see how you're framed in the shot. You can already get the hot shoe attachment, which I have. You can use that to add a light to the OP3. 4. Gesture control? Sure. I guess. But, you can already double tap on the screen of the gimbal or the phone screen in the Mimo app. 5. A quarter twenty mount on the bottom of the OP3? You already have the 1-inch section that has a mount included. That's fine with me. 6. More rugged? What materials would be used? For me, I think it's pretty good in its current state. I wouldn't want to make it more expensive than it is. You would just push sales down and discourage upgrading.

I kinda miss the pocket2 button layout. Obviously the OP3 screen nixed that, but, i like a physical mode button and the more "cone" shape of the directional button on the P2.

a great list, it absolutely needs to be less flimsy! last thing i want it to worry how and where i put it in my bag... oh the weather proofing is a huge problem, especially when we live in 10 months of winter, pretty much! we need cameras that we can take out without fear of water/weather damage. lets hope that DJI listens to you and all creators. i would like to see more professsional/advanced ‚auto‘ settings. not only focus/exposure locks but the ability to set the adjustment speed in at least 3 speeds… for autofocus and exposure adjustement speed

It took then three years to release the Pocket 3 after the Pocket 2 came out. I suspect it will be a while before we see anything new. I just wish the side to side on the gimbal would stop locking when you use the joystick to tilt it.

As you say, exposure lock is a must, not just that, even via MIMO it onle works in AUTO mode, and NOT in Manual. By the way, have you realized that FPV-L do NOT appear in MIMO??? Crazy mistake

If you mean what I think for lock mode you can just keep the 5d joystick pressed and it goes in the locked mode

I would like to see exposure times of greater than 1s (up to 30s) so it could be used for time lapses of the night sky or light trails.

I want to see 8k/12k+60fps and proress hq/xq+raw and a cusom imax fim Sensor for just for the osmo pocket camera for more accurate recording+vloging and an Unlimited storage would be cool along with a 24+48 Hour battery life

There is no "we". You want different things than me and vice versa. And there are so many people out there who want different things than you and me. And you are waiting for Christmas. For example I don't need all the things you mentioned besides the exposure lock. And what you're suggesting now I find really absurd. You build your perfect camera and then DJI should release it. With all that you want, you don't seem to think about the fact that this camera shouldn't cost 4000 euros. And it also seems to be intended primarily for people who want to quickly get the thing out of their bag and hold it. Your “professional” needs are not covered by DJI. This isn't supposed to be an action camera, why should it be? There are enough out there. It shouldn't be a 360 degree camera either. There are enough out there. It seems logical to me that the P4 will of course experience positive changes again. It's just that the direction you're thinking seems wrong to me. In German we have a metaphor: Die Eierlegende Wollmichsau. And that doesn't exist.
