DJI Phantom 4/4PRO Yaw Motor Replace Disassembly and Reassembly

Graphics in order, for translations:
PHANTOM 4/4PRO Yaw Motor Disassembly
Whether you replace the yaw motor with a newer or older style unit; to properly center the gimbal with DJI’S original manufacturing placement of the motor’s sensors and the housing’s magnets in conjunction with your P4/P4PRO, you must swap the replacement unit’s inner motor sensors, into the original unit’s outer magnetic housing.
If you do not swap the inside components like this video shows and you only replace the full motor unit, afterwards you may then still have to send the P4/4PRO into DJI to recalibrate and recenter the gimbal.
The P4 is the older housing shape and the P4PRO is the newer housing shape, but both inner motor sensors are the same and are interchangeable.
The motors must be replaced if the motor’s sensors are scratched by the housing, due to the motor unit buckling on itself in a crash.

This is an awesome video tutorial. The method is easier and more gentle than hitting with a hammer as another video shows. I tried every method I could research over two months on the internet to get my camera straight and level after a crash. No success. I even wasted money on a Yaw/Roll "Electronic Speed Control" Board that the ribbon cables connect to on the back of the gimbal yaw arm. That was not the issue. I saw this video just before I gave up and sent the drone to a repair shop after multiple dismantlings of the gimbal. Reluctantly, I figured if I was going to be thorough, I had to try! First attempt did not work. I would have sworn I had the bearing flush. I picked at it with my fingernail and looked at it with a magnifying glass and it still looked flush, but the drum (housing) seemed to be binding a little at times when I spun it. The bearing end might have been above flush by a frog's hair. I pressed it back in just a tiny amount. It ended up below flush by maybe two frog's hairs. I decided to try it............... Lo and Behold It Worked!!! When I powered up the Phantom 4 Pro, the camera lined up straight for the first time since the crash. It was slightly rolled to the right about 3°. I ran an IMU Calibration and the camera was the same. I powered down the drone, then waited a short time and powered it back on. Then I ran a Gimbal Calibration. CAMERA STRAIGHT AND LEVEL!!! Thanks Spencer!
