They have no reason to, I'd love a discount as well but why discount something that is flying off the shelves, already expensive, is by far the most advanced in its category, and dominates all other manufacturers. It would just be 'something nice for the customer'. Something tells me DJI could give a f*ck about making you happy, lol

Visually being able to see the home point is huge for me! I record my hikes in the mountains, often with tall trees, and I often struggle to figure out which tree is the one I'm standing under.

I haven't quite mastered flying my Mini 3 Pro yet, so even though the Mini 4 Pro promises significant improvements, I'll be sticking with my Mini 3 Pro until I've honed my drone piloting skills to perfection 😄.

The mini 3 pro makes you a better drone flyer . Sharpen your skills with it first !! Becos it doesn’t have the side sensors , you will improve quicker when flying as you will be using Visual line of sight a lot when panning and also honing in on your throttle . I’ll be waiting for the Mini 6 pro looking at how DJI is going now . It won’t be long !!

In much the same way I waited for the DJI Action 4 to be released, I’ve been waiting for this DJI Mini 4 Pro to be released…..and in both cases, the improvements I’ve been hoping for, have in fact been added…..and more features besides. So thanks once again for this comprehensive guide to the Mini 4 Pro. Now I just need work out my financial situation for the next 6 months before making this purchase.

Great comparison video! In regards to the controller, would you rather have the standard controller and more batteries... or just the basic kit with one battery but with the updated RC 2 controller?

Thanks Matthew. This looks great for many things but particularly for tracking mountain biking. Is it compatible with the original RC that I already have with my Mini 3 Pro? It looks like a software update could cover most of the new features.

Hi, will the ND filters for the mini 3 fit the camera socket on the mini 4? Also, are the spare rotors identical to the mini 3? Great video, really helpful as always. With so many minimal upgrades around it's good to see DJI listening to users and making significant improvements. My question though is where is that fantastic waterfall? Couldn't see any map giveaway details on your video. Glens of Antrim somewhere? Always enjoy the local scenery in your videos and they inspire me to get out on the North Coast with my not completely obsolete yet mini 3 pro.

Most of the updates come from the software. Some improvements like the gimbal cover, legs are arguable. It is interesting to hear if any software updates from Mini 4 are available for Mini 3.

So, can the tracking customization be changed on the fly to give those different tracking angles (diagonal sideways etc) by drawing those green lines as you showed in the video or it has to be done before the drone takes off?

For now goggles are not compatible with rc2, and I think they will not even in future since they're using different technology. New goggles probably will be available with new avatar's version...

Great video. Do you know why? I wonder why the obstacle avoidance doesn’t work while stationary. Which means if you set the drone stationary (tripod mode POI) to capture a moving object ( ex my sailboat passing by), it will not avoid the object moving towards it. That should be fixed with an update I wish…. Cheers.

Matthew this is another winning review video. Thank you. I took advantage of DJI's limited time offer, earlier this year, of an extra battery plus Care Refresh for (I think!) just the price of the Mini 3 Pro. I haven't had to use the cover yet and hope never to have to. But it's comforting to know it's there if I screw up : an increasingly likely scenario as I get braver in flight! Thanks again.

I ordered one on launch day direct from DJI (Monday) and it arrived on Friday. This is my first drone with a controller screen and it does take some time to get used to, especially moving files around. However, this was simplified when I discovered plugging the drone into my PC using the USB-C cable and without powering it up, the drone is recognized as two external drives. This makes for easy file transfers. Mini 3 Pro does not do this. This also is the first time I've bought DJI Care. I've seen a few mini 4 pro videos where people were using the advanced features (waypoint, track, etc.) where the drone crashes. I plan on trying these features too and it's better safe than sorry. Nice video by the way.

Fantastic Comprehensive video, great editing and I'm totally sold on my future Upgrade from my DJi Mini 2 .. to this amazing DJI 4 pro. Thank-you for making it crystal clear the excellent value. And Wow wow wow.. that 360 Collision avoidance, Active Tracking and Advanced Return to Home... wowww... I purposely began flying the DJi Mini2 because I heard the philosophy of other Drone Pilots saying the Mini 2 (with no obstacle avoidance) will Force you to learn to fly properly, and I've had some close calls but nothing serious. But seeing this Active Tracking with Collision avoidance means I could potentially go Longboarding a path with the Drone doing Chase Cam. Mind Blown. 💚 Love this Video, Thanks.

In Europe the height limit is set to 120m on the new Mini 4 pro, no more 500m due to the new 0 Class. Is is the same in the US?

Where do you store your drones at home? Do I need a dry cabinet?

i had an original mavic air and upgraded to a 3 non pro, the difference is crazy. I don't use it that much anymore since I got HDZero stuff.

I get ALOT of weak signals Adjust Antenna on my mini 3 Pro when I try to go to the lake near me and it’s VERY annoying. Thinking I will upgrade. Just want to make sure my 2 year DJ Refresh would cover the new mini 4 Pro OR that only covers my current mini 3 Pro???
