DJI Matrice 300 RTK Smart Controller - ADD A BIGGER SCREEN!

Ғылым және технология

The DJI Smart Controller has been a big hit with pilots flying both the Mavic 2 Enterprise drones and the Matrice 300 RTK. The biggest complaint is that people want a bigger screen. In this video, we show you how to hook up your Android tablet or phone to the DJI Smart Controller.

what does the HDMI output show? iirc with normal smart controller, not enterprise, it outputs just the camera, with dual/multiple cameras which one is sent via HDMI, can you control that on the fly?

HI, I purchase a Galaxy A8 tablet to do exactly this. Loaded on the DJI Pilot APP ver. 2.4.1 for the M300 & L1. It is so buggy that I eventually gave up and went back to the normal controller. The app froze up when I tried to modify the RTK Base position and eventually bombed completely in the middle of a mission. I'll park this one and wait for bug fixes...lets say six months. Thanks for the info, though.

Plugging my tablet into the M300 smart controller opens up the DJI Pilot 2 app automatically but then the camera view is blank? Do you know why?

Hey… folks! The “standard” Smart Controller has HDMI out AND a USB “A” connector in addition to the USB C connector used for charging and data transfer. I used to (and still do on occasion) add an external bright screen “FeelWorld” HDMI monitor to the smart controller and attach it to the HDMI output port on the controller. It allows for better situational awareness in Fire dept operations and we even add an HDMI transmitter to the port and send the video signal out to our mobile command trailer for larger events. I also use the smart controller with our Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro and have been using an external TriplTek tablet (Android / 2000 NIT BRIGHT Screen) to display the output of our DJI FPV Drone to an “audience”. The smart controller is connected to the Goggles v2 via USB C and the USB “A” on top of the smart controller is connected to the USB C connector on the TriplTek tablet. We run “DigiView” , an Android app to display the video stream . We also u

DJI, the second most incompatible brand on the market. I am sorry to say, but I want simplicity and transferable capability/compatibility. Time and time again DJI have tucked us up like kippers. The new FPV drone for example that CANNOT be used with android??? And the V2 goggles that CANNOT be used to broadcast HDMI through cable to television and monitors. I am just dumbfounded as to how these cretins get away with this year after year, release after release. Sort it out DJI
