Do you now how to do the hack with the Caddx Vista vtx in combination with the goggles 2? Do we have to place a hack file also on the vista or only hack the goggles?

Hello, I have a Babyhawk 2 HD with Caddx Vista, and my goggles are DJI integra. I have unlocked FCC on the goggles, but how can I set or know the power level of the Caddx Vista? Nowhere in the goggle menu can I see or change the power. Can someone help me?

DJi took that power option with the O3. I missed that feature.

Hi great job. So as far as I understand, FCC should also work on Air Unit and Vista? I have a bit of a problem, although 7 channels are shown to me, but the Air Unit only runs at a maximum of 7 mbps. If I set the audience it increases to max 27 mbps. You can help me??? Or old Air Units with Vista are simply not supported. Thanks a lot.

why after I opened fcc it become 7mbps in shorter distance,its just lose signal after 300m now. it worse

@@dongyuanhao3855 Look at Bandwidth at 20MHz if you have 7 channels, if not then it is not in FCC mode. If you have 7 channels correctly, switch to 40MHz in the Bandwidth settings and it should work.

When flying on auto, the system manages the power output. This is just my speculation based on my experience with the system. The 03 will be witching channel and managing the output power up and down based on the distance between the goggle 2 and the VTX. When running the system on manual mode, you lock the channel to a specific one, and you also lock the output power to the highest level. I have noticed a major improvement on reception quality when running on manual mode compared to auto.

Does this work for improving range in the U.K? I am flying a Bind N Fly Bob57 woth 03 unit & Crossfore. When I get about 360-400 meters away, I’m loosing the HD bars down to about 2 red bars and am scared to continue pushing it further. I still had video and control, it just showed 2 bars HD in goggles. I’m confused as I see footage of people doing long range with the Bon57, and I’ve bought a 4000mah LiLon iFlight fullsend battery for this reason. There were zero obstacles beteeen myself and the Bob, and I was still facing towards it so anyone know why I’m getting the red HD things loosing bars at such a short range? I’d Like to be able to get to around 700 meters at least ideally. If I do push it and loose connection then I hope my GPS Rescue will kick in, but I’m having to turn back much sooner that I want/need for some specific locations when I’m flying. I’m new to this stuff coming from normal drones and Avata so it’s all new to me. Again, it’s a Bob57 + 03 unit and Crossfore. I’m using Goggles 2 and TBS Tango 2. Any tips or info will be ideal. In Europe/UK, DJI limits the VTX power output to 25mw due to EU/UK regulation. That is what is limiting the range on your O3 system. DJI is able to get your location when you activate/register the system on the app. This hack will definitely unlock your 03 power, but off course , I will never advise you to go against 🇬🇧 regulation.

Hey hey. Did you figure out how to fix it? I am having the same issue with bob57. I just did the FCC hack and yet to test it. Should the channels be set to Manual or any specific MHz and channel needs to be selected?

Hi i did it and when i activate the air unit i gets lots of Mbps bit after a seconds it return to 5 Mbps ...

After your done do you have to leave the sd card in the goggles?

yes, works on latest software for Goggles 2 and the Integras I have. I tested range and distance went from 150m to 800m before it started to drop. Long range test, the LIPO6S got me 3.4km before i had to turn around (1600mah)@@ai_guitarist

Tried this and it didnt work, firmware 01.09.0000. Formatted sd in goggles n move ham file to root of sd card n reset goggles. Tried different ham files from 2 different source (rotor riot n mad tech). Driving me nuts. Any suggestions is appreciated

You probably didn't delete the suffix of ham_cfg_support. You need to delete the .txt .bin and other words during renaming and change it to ham_cfg_support.

The option of selecting a specific channel is useful if u fly with multiple people. Otherwise, the auto option is perfect for solo flyers.

I'm not really sure. This hack was supposed to give you more power, but I personally didn't notice any major difference after multiple tests. It is nice to have the option of changing channels, and in some situations, different channels did greatly improve the connection

It still works. You need to redo the hack after updating your vtx firmware.

Do you have a Gogglec 2 or Integra? BCs, .you only do the hack on the Goggle . I'm not sure if it will work on the Mini Pro 3 , but u can give it a try. I can't bcs I don't have one.

I don't have a power meter capable of measuring digital system power. I'm sure they do exist and expensive. This is the best method I could come up with. However, you need to look up Madtech channels. He has done more extensive testing, and he concluded this give you more power.

I did the same step. but mine still showing 1 channel only after inserted the sd card
