Nice review hope the spares are easily available and is easy to fix have heard a lot got crashed within the 1st week itself

When you go in manual mode and you release the throttle all the way down the drone actually still kind of assists you with lift, unlike other FPV’s, so I find it more difficult to crash this drone compared to other fpvs. Nonetheless I purchased 1 year of DJI care refresh lol... just in case

Great review! You are right on point about the camera. I hope DJI comes out with camera upgrades for the FPV drone.

it is possible to mount a camera to the top of the DJI FPV, similar to other FPVs. So this droan actually does have cinematographic applications.

Nothing substantial has been made yet. Also that would include two extra payloads that the DJI FPV wasn’t specifically designed for so you’re adding risk to your aircraft, especially if doing tricks. However if you used the DJI FPV like a Mavic, I think extra payloads wouldn’t be as risky.

@@edwardfigura DJI will release a patch to make the FPV account for extra payload in the coming days. I heard it will happen today. But you can still mount a gopro to it as of right now if you dont try any crazy tricks.

No I haven’t. I just received my fly-more kit so now I can spend more time in the air and do it. I’ll make another video of me practicing it!

This dji fpv drone, in fpv drones world considered as low to mid-range... Its good for cinematography tho.... Anyway mine drone that cost 80euros fly up to 116mph with 4s... And can withstand heavy crashes with no damage, i once drown it in the lake and its still fine... Dji fpv only for cinematography, ONLY. atleast its damn good for it.

Can I get a British accent for the flight simulator? Nice review!

Its not a beginner drone, its cost almost 2k and fragile like glass, to fix dji is expensive... Simulator helps to get hang on controls, but you going to crash it in real life... Regular fpv drones designed to crash every 5 minutes and be fine... Regular fpv have many simulators, nothing new here... Better buy regular drone for 100€ that is also faster and more precise... Look to regular fpv frystyle videos and dji fpv, not many manage to learn dji to fly like regular fpv since its just to expensive amd fragile... You will spend multimple multiple thousand of dollars until you learn to fly it like regular analog fpv drones... Definitely not beginners friendly

The dji FPV comes with multiple flying modes that prepare you for manual mode. You can use it as a regular DJI drone or turn it into an FPV drone. It’s beginner friendly because it has a panic button and a return to home feature, and it assists you when you let go of the throttle, so the drone doesn’t just fall free speed. But I do appreciate your opinion on the DJI FPV drone

@@edwardfigura the return home button wont save you from hitting a wall amd shattering frame... Just look to regular fpv drones frystyle capabilities... You also can fly regular fpv in same modes, if you going to fly dji fpv in a safest mode, just buy mavic or other dji... If you planing to fly dji in acro like regular fpv in the future, no simulator will help you in the end, no safety feature nothing, dji just to fragile... Its only good if you flying it like older dji drones, only with googles, but to freestyle or do racing with it is terrible terrible idea... Since acro is acro, and on acro ppl crash no matter what...

The return to home button will make sure you don’t lose your drone forever in the first place. The panic button will stop your drone instantly with momentum of course. Nonetheless, if you’re an FPV pilot, there’s no point in you buying the DJI FPV drone, however, if you’re a beginner and don’t know whether you enjoy more to fly or to take photos and video, then the DJI FPV is a good place to start in order to try out both

@@edwardfigura if you planing to do freestyle or racing then no fly mode will prepare you, if you will research little you will see that best of the best professional in fpv hobby who fly for many years( i think they prepared af), crash they'r drones, if not every day then every second day, you wont be able to press that panic button before you realize you going to crash on that speed, its a split second reactions, and regular drone can carry go pro that can make as good photos and videos as dji ... And drones they fly cost fraction of dji + fixing is cheap and they can withstand many crashes without shattering not like fragile sheet of glass dji is... Dji is the most far from beginners friendly, its more like a illusion. In the end, to fly dji like other pilots fly regular fpv will cost you fortunes... Thats why there no videos someone actually flying dji like regular fpv... I hope i made it clear... Dji is cinematography company not sport drones one and if its a first attempt making sport drone... Why is so fragile and so slow compared other beginners sport drones... Since its scinematography drone... If you fly dji only to make footage, then its nothing to be beginer friendly at since any dji drone is as beginner friendly like this one.
