According to BH Photo, DJI had an issue with the Focus Pro and had to do a recall concerning a hardware issue. Still patiently waiting for mine.

You can laugh all you want and have the view that Cook SP.3 and Arri master primes are superior but what you don’t understand is that the next wave of cinematographer are not necessarily going to always choose what you think is the best lens. The next generation of cinematographer is growing up watching guys like Greig Fraser who has in fact used vintage glass on modern AAA films such as Dune and the Batman. As history will repeat itself that the next generation will be inspired and loosely copy their idols, there may come a time where Arri master primes and Cooke lenses are no longer en vogue for AAA or even artistic filming. Things change so don’t be a gatekeeper because time will make you look like a clown in the end 😂

Not too shabby, thanks for asking! 😉 Short version - moved to the UK. Hence no videos on the channel for a while.

Theoretically the DJI is a great system. Practically though, not yet. I have one and it's buggy. Also, it won't take lenses over 100mm or that close focus under 1.5 meters. Also, in body AF just can't be beat: you don't have 2 monitors to look at. I have a video on setting it up if anyone's curious.

Yeah it's a bit half-baked from what I gather, but keeping in mind this us only Gen 1 system, it's still exciting to me.
