air 4 not yet buddy 🤫, ppl still talking about a air 3s .. & really all it needs is a 22mm lens like the air 2s & probably higher resolution but other than that it's perfect, it's just the middle-weight not the flag-ship mavic .. no need for 1" sensor etheir because they have another technology put into the sensor on the air 3 already' that emitts more light or reflects more light onto the sensor for low light filming/photo .. ppl expect too much out of the mid-range section.

My air 3 is my favorite,maybe the air 4 will be my favorite.i feel like a kid on Christmas morning 😊

I hope you are even close. I am saving for my next purchase and was torn between the Air 3 and the Avata 2. I have the Avata but after seeing reports the the 2 is not a durable, I going to wait until July.

Will it be possible to make vertical videos and shots?

Thanks Joseph! All the things I had been expecting and waiting for! I had the Air 2 and the Air 2s killed it. I had the Mini 3 Pro and the Mini 4 Pro killed it. I skipped the Air 3 and waited. This Air 4 will surely kill it too but at least I have a chance to be on the top side instead of the bottom this time! Hopefully, your predictions are ALL correct! Thanks again.

i prefer 2 really good cameras than 3 cameras so this gonna an interesting release from dji

Air 4? Where did you get this info? I haven't heard any other channel talking about this. The air 3 just released Aug 2023 so it's only about 9 months old. Then again when you look at the Air series releases, DJI typically launched a newer Air series drone more frequently than the Mavic Series. Air 1 Jan '18, Air 2 Apr '20, Air 2S Apr '21, and Air 3 Aug 2023....so maybe instead of Air 4 maybe Air 3s or Air 3 Pro

Dude, I’m buying a drone a year. lol. I’ve been holding out for the Air 4. I thought it would be called the Air 3s. But Air 4 sounds cool. Call it Air 4orce.

Hold off how long? When it the 4 expected to be announced/released? I just got an Air 3, because I looked and there was no info about any new model releasing soon. All still in box and I could return though. I got hard cases, batteries, ND filters, etc.

What are your thoughts on the camera physically being able to go in vertical mode like on the mini series? Do you think this is something that will come to the air 4? It has been a big complaint from the community.

No, that would eliminate the pan feature like it does on the mini series.

Air 3S would give me much more sense against Air 4. This is also probably the reason why Air 3 was recently discounted 20%.

Need their support of API so that Litchi can work.

I personally don't think the Air 4 will have 2 cameras. I think they will release an Air 4, 1 inch sensor, and all of the upgraded features of the Air 3, maybe o4+ plus the features you mentioned. This will keep the Air 3 relevant with its duel cameras. However I find it far-fetched that the Air 4 will have a mechanical shutter. I mean the Mavic series doesn't even have a MS. Well see.

I doubt DJI would release an Air 4 anytime soon. They would kill the sales on the Air 3 and the Mavic 3 Pro prematurely.

Basically they will increase the sensor size but won’t have a variable aperture.

I think you're right, although I wish it weren't so. That would be the only reason I would switch.

This is all speculation

50 Minutes of flight time is incredibly long, but honestly I'd sacrifice half of it if I get a quicker drone for that. DJIs drones, even the FPV drones are honestly not exactly quick. But for some shots you may actually want a quicker drone than what DJI offers.

Great video Joseph, and appreciated! I do hope active track gets better. DJI is still no where close to Skydio, and as a motorcycle content creator this would really help a lot.

I’m done buying Chinese drones until I know what’s going to happen with all of the legislation that’s been put forth against them.

It "will" have this sensor? Says who? Variable aperture - I bet against it. But hey, lot of clicks for zero confirmed informations but pure speculations.
