If we use 4K 4:3 we will have gyro data, which we can then compensate for the image stabilization.

Hi mate, lovely information. I am confused alot with tutorials on youtube. Some people say you need to use gimble to avoid shaking w/o rocksteady on. Some says you can handle shaking after with a software. I'll be travelling next week, I'm doing travel vlogs and I need to use my action 4 at night aswell. Help me out!

Hi Mark, lets say I want to vlogg with the DJI Osmo Action 4 (which means Im gonna be walking most of the times). I think I need the RockSteady mode because Im gonna be moving all the time. In that case, would you recommend the same settings described in your video? I have seen a lot of tutorials, and Im confused now. Greetings from New York, and Happy New Year.

Hey there! Thanks for dropping a comment! The Osmo Action 4 is definitely one of the most perfectly made vlogging cameras out there! It fits in your pocket and doesn't catch so much attention! As for your question, yes, you can just the Rocksteady stabilization, just the normal strength will be okay, the Rocksteady+ will be too much and will be so obvious that you're using stabilization, the normal setting will look more natural. Hope this helps

@@markfriday yes I just realize the stabilization is not good for osmos 4 but dlogm is great

Low light is just trash with this camera, other then that I love this camera
