good question the amico version is the real version with actual rumble vibration feedback and extra information liek hints on the controllerdisplay, personally i only palyed 13 minutes astrosmash on steam but i played so far more than 9 hours on amico home and with all this extra features it feels right to play on the original amico platform, better avoid the port version for the complete experience.

Ian Ferguson bought Shark! Shark! And refunded it only after 18 minutes. He said it sucked so bad. 😂

Ian spent the remainder on a trip? Awesome. I also think means testing is bad, I think benefits should be hugely expanded and I think limits on SNAP should be abolished. I'm one of the few people who has defended you as not being an unpleasant person, just being somewhat misunderstood and defensive - but you don't made that easy pferreira when you say needlessly incendiary things.

For the record I've stated to these people directly that I didn't think singling you out was fair, and putting unrelated parts of your life on display for people to make fun of was just bullying and I've made that clear to people who did that several times. I completely get the attitude of why should you play nice when no one else has even attempted to and I honestly can't fault you for feeling that way. Like I said, I've made it clear to people I thought it was needlessly cruel and I have no issues with you personally. I do struggle to see your viewpoint on several things, but that doesn't give anyone a license for abuse and abhorrent cruelty. You've never treated me badly, you've argued but I've never come away from an interaction with you thinking you were unfair. You're alright as far as I'm concerned. shark shark mixes art styles from all sorts of off the shelf game art elements, THERE IS NO ART style. Nothing consistent, its looks like they bought 3 or 4 art bundles and tossed them together. This is embarrassing.

Jeff is spot on. This feels like some of those $5-$10 short arcade experiences in the early Xbox and Xbox 360 years of digital games.

I disagree with Jeff on one thing. They're not even XBLA worthy. They belong one tier lower, Xbox Live Indie Games, for no more than 240 points, where the storefront was more hidden, and the games had no QC from official staff. I found games there with stolen assets, too.

DJC's brain would melt if he saw Cuphead, apparently. If I was some rich man with more money than sense, I'd ask BBG games for a blank cheque to buy their S tier IPs. No, not Super, Stupendous or other Superlatives. I mean the other S; the one commonly known as Kusoge. Shark Shark is one third of Jaws on NES, and I want everyone to think of that. One third of a game that is reviled; and it manages to have less content.

Remember, these aren't just unfinished, overpriced games that lack a pause feature or have incorrect button mapping. Astrosmash and Shark! Shark! were supposed to be the centerpiece of a $350+ console that was supposed to sell to billions and take over the world and save your family (according to "veritable industry icon" Tommy Tallarico and his personality cult). They were Intellivision's Mario and Sonic, or pack-ins equivalent to Wii Sports. Welp, the games are now out there in the wild, on multiple platforms, minus the cost of a woodgrain or purple or GTO Red footbath, so they're more available now than they've ever been, and the result? Crickets. I really do hope that when the shills see these games sell in the dozens and have a concurrent player count in the single digits, not enough to get even a decent online multiplayer stream going, that they come to the epiphany that the Amico and its retrobait games were always stupid ideas that evolved into a $17 million+ grift. I'd like to believe that, but then there are the "puzzling" comments below. And before you compare anything DJC says to anything Jeff Gerstmann says, remember that DJC thanked Stephen Berendsen of BBG for providing the code for Astrosmash and Shark Shark, so he got the games for free. Not even the biggest shills will pay for this BS, and neither should you. Enjoy the "human experience" of saving a few bucks or spending it elsewhere.

Yeah, these are solid points and they do highlight the fact that the Amico Cult will accept ANYTHING as some type of victory. The first red flag they should've noticed was when Tommy told them that the games all had to meet a certain level of perfection, like a quality seal to even be on their platform. Then, announces ported over cell phone games and free internet flash games. This is why they celebrate medicore "exclusive" Amico games coming out on other systems now, no matter how well they sell. It's also why they would celebrate just the founder's editions coming out, which would mean a dead system with no new games as a shelf trophy.

Djc says: "Not everyone has an Amico". He should've said: "No one has an Amico, because it doesn't exist.". A couple of coubled up prototypes in the wild don't count.

The money gained from licensing to BBG will be used to settle debts and pay overhead not to put out founders.
