I have 710 and the bass is so damn crazy I have a subwoofer on my car it’s a Rockford 2 p2 12 inch and my Rockford is amazing but this 710 the bass is really awesome my room is shaking and it’s only 40% and I haven’t even tried 60% and up… I would recommend this 710 this speaker is crazy👌👌👌👌👌

I had two 310 and they can still not compare to one 710. Yes they are more portable and have battery, but still the 710 is just another level. So i ended up getting two 710, outside is just amazing playing these, deep deep powerful bass. As for the bass reduction at max volume, this i due to dynamics compression, so jbl stops the bass before it distorts. Also compared one of my 710 to 1000, the 710 still has more bass.

Inaccurate data this buddy ;). Firstly the bass does not roll off to protect drivers. On JBL amplifiers. Bass is set to maximum around 65 percent volume. This volume hits the highest excursion of the drivers. When the speaker is turned to the top the drivers don’t lay off they just have to produce midrange frequency too. And the bass is then drowned out by midrange and highs. Secondly. The JBL partybox 1000 and 710 are incomparable for sound. Anybody with somewhat knowledge on sound will instantly hear the difference between the 710 and 1000. In terms of bass it’s close but the 1000 has deeper and more precise bass than the 710. It also goes a little louder. This is expected as it’s a bigger more expensive more powerful unit and offers a 3 way sound. 2 mids for midrange a sound pressure horn for the highs n an optimised subwoofer for its bass. The 1000 doesn’t have to work as hard as the 710 to produce this sound and does not at any point distort as it isn’t really possible. Frequency’s don’t get mixed and thrown through 1 driver as there is a driver for every frequency. The 710 sounds stressed at maximum volume. Especially on loud punchy songs. Don’t get me wrong it is a party speaker however it can’t quite reach up there with the 1000 just yet. Still a great speaker tho 😉

I just purchased a 710 as my 1000 has been damaged by someone vomiting all over it at a street party 😱, i also had 3 x jbl300 and that was no comparison to the jbl1000, the bass on the jbl1000 is unreal 😎

Can you dacy chain 2 x 710 to 2 x 310 ? I have 2 JBL 310 now but want to upgrade. Had a samll rave in the park yesterday. The only downside with the 710 and 1000 is that they not come with a battery.

You got me to get the PARTYBOX 710 and I already have 2 PARTYBOX 100 and I’m going to Daisy Chain them together. I have them hooked up to my TV and it sounds like a theater, with the 710, it would probably sound like Dolby digital or IMAX. I also have a Bumpboxx Up Rocks Bluetooth speaker. Yeah. My 710 came in about 3 weeks ago and I have it in the corner and pointed towards the other furthest corner and it hits hard. I could only keep it up about 25% of the way or it would be too loud. Yeah, at the time, I could only find the 100’s and fell in love with them. I have all speakers hooked up to my TV and I feel like I’m at a IMAX theater, not quite Dolby Digital yet.

310 is back in stock now. Should I wait for the next pb 3 or get this now? 710 is nice but just way too big for my needs as I rather have a battery on the go.

I have the 710 running on an eco flow river pro power station. When i go to the beach, i can run it at 80% for 5 hours with left over power. I’ve never tested any long because 5 hours at the beach is too long for me. Its safe to say it will last any party from start to finish. That’s a trick people can use to make this a portable speaker.

Can you connect another brand speaker with either the 310 or 710 using the cable to 3.5mm? I have a jbl soundbar I want to play both of them at once. Kinda of a deciding factor for me to buy a another speaker. My soundbar isn't loud enough.

You need to get the partybox 1000 so you can here the good bass and how Loud it is!!

In my opinion using the 710 for a wedding is quite an unreasonable idea because: 1. It can't be raised on a tripod - you need that because a crowd of dancing people absorbs the highs and some of the mids so this is detrimental to the sound quality. Professionals raise their tops (mid + highs playing speakers) over people's heads so everyone can hear the music clearly. 2. Professional speakers have directional horns and they can be heard the best when they are facing you. If you step outside their cone of optimal loudness and clarity, the loudness drops noticeably. You need that so you can create a sound hotspot at the dancefloor and allow everyone outside of it to be able to have a civilized conversation instead of screaming at each other. The 710 is not so directional. 3. Professionals use shielded XLR cables to avoid electromagnetic interference that causes noise in the sound. The 710 doesn't support XLR cables 4. If you raise the 710 high off the ground you will lose a lot of the bass and will need a subwoofer. It's better to use dedicated top speakers with little bass + a subwoofer or a sub under each top 5. As impressive as the 710 is, it's just unprofessional with its vague and meaningless specs. They don't even tell you the continuous maximum decibels (SPL) it can reach. Wattage is meaningless without the sensitivity of the drivers - decibels per watt at 1m distance. For the price of 2x 710s you can get a very competent professional system from ALTO for example - TS408 127db 8" tops and a TS315S 128db 15" subwoofer. Those are WAY louder and more suitable for a wedding. I have bought 2 partybox 100s for small events I host and a professional (ish) ALTO system with its cheaper TX308 tops and TS215S sub and for a wedding of 50 people it was excellent. I've also had ALTO TS312 12" 128db tops - 2 of them together weigh similarly to 1x JBL PB710 and they wipe the floor with the 710 in terms of loudness, durability to bumps and scratches and professional usability. I hope this helps somebody.

I plan on using the 710 for multiple uses. I’m yet to see any comments about how it sounds or would work for Karaoke. Anyone have any experience with the 710 for that purpose?

I'm buying a good sounding speaker, not a battery. For carry around I've got the boombox 2 and i mount it on my bike with some bungee cords. For big house party I've partybox 1000. All i care about is just good sound quality.

7:31 have used Thumps numerous times for DJs gigs, they're just as they are named, they thump...hard.. I would say they're definitely louder and more bass than than the JBL 710. Different speakers for different uses

Samsung equilizer are safe to use equilizer because Samsung owns JBL and its equilizer had JBL sound signature

The 1000s bass is deeper and slightly more powerful even when on full. There is one slight issue with the 710 and that is when you have an extremely bassy song on and someone is singing in the song or something like that it will distort as the excursion on the drivers is so high I love the 710 however if you are already going to spend so much and get something so big. You may as well go all of the way and get the 1000

@@a..b..9308 yes thats true, we tried The 710 in The store, and my brother Has 1000 so i had it at our house so i know how it sounds, and the 1000 is still more powerfull and The Subwoofer at The bottom is doing a Great job, but i love both

Especially in bass however I’ve been yearling people speaking about the 710 being the model that replaces the 1000 I can tell you that is not the case 😂 it’s a big boy but it’s not big enough. The 1010 will hit the market soon enough. They’ve made a new series of every other speaker. Hoping for a 15 inch sub 😩

@@a..b..9308 i think The 300 deals The best with The roll off ,but only because it has different woofers, The 300 has woofers that on lower volumes it lacks of the bass but at higher volumes it Gets Power and low excursion, but the 310 Has More bass but high excursion at higher volumes, but yeah the 1000 is still better in some cases

@@DarkMarioSK the 310 is my all time favourite. Even over the 1000. It ticks every single box even though it isn’t the most powerful in the lineup

The 1000 is a good deal louder than the 710 I got the 710 , 110 , and essential atm. Along with all my flips , charges , xtreme 2s n 3s and both boomboxs I collect jbl speakers I just love em. The 710 was pretty pricey at $900 bucks when I got it. The 1000 though my uncle has he has 2 of them along with the 710s and 310s he has a wild setup and he also works for jbl 😆 he has the newest ones always before anyone else. He has the boombox 3 as well and dude just wait until you test it... you should do a bling unboxing and test.. when you get it don't listen to it until your recording.... it'll blow you away dude it's a nice upgrade from the older gen boomboxs. It hits hard hard hard lol. But yeah as for the 1000 man the 710 can't compete with it.. it's not a tremendous difference but the bass is like 3 or 4 times stronger it's a 1/4 to 1/2 louder. It's not a huge diff in raw volume.. in order for the 1k to be twice as loud it would have to be atleast 1,600 watts and it's only 1100 watts vs the 710s 800 watts... but yeah man it's worth the $1,000 bucks

I have both the 310 and the 1000. Biggest difference is the subwoofer, 110,310 and 710 DONT HAVE IT. So 1000 is way better at bass.

jbl has been discontinuing some good speakers, xtreme 2 is now cheaper* bc of the xtreme 3, and it is worth it's price more than the xtreme 3 and the tier below, i got 1 for 170€. About the discontinued speakers, basspro go, their home tower speakers, horn loaded old towers.

Lg ok99 and sony muteki v90d completely eats partybox 1000 try comparing those speakees with 710 there is no roll off in bass in lg or sony till 100 percent volume

710 now sounds the worst off them all. Go watch Robs Reviews and Demos. He has tested it and he says it is now the worst sounding JBL Partybox. I trust Rob the most, because he is super honest. He tells pros and cons and that is why he is so good! He says JBL Partybox 710 has roll off at 60% already and i trust him, because he has also tested it.

You are right brother, I own 710, trust me, don't buy it. Bass rolls off over 60% volume. Sounds bad at full volume. No f'ing battery. Too much money. Even mids are not clear in that garbage. 310 is a better option. Mids are clear in that and it's portable too.
