as a sensible black person DJ Vlad was right. No matter what musical genre we’re talking about people shouldn’t have to stray away from speaking their opinion because they were born with a certain appearance. This is blatant racism. And frankly i’m disappointed in other black people for acting this way.

You’re missing the point. This isn’t about Vlad being told to shut up because he is white. This is about Vlad tagging her employer like a karen then denying that he tried to get her fired. There is literally no power black people have to try to say white folk ain’t invited to the hip hop cookout when the industry is controlled by white execs. There is however power in someone like vlad snitching on a black professor and claiming racism/ anti semitism (if he wanted to). There is also a lack of awareness by Vlad to diss the production of a diss song when literally nobody was worried about that in this beef to begin with.

The really good thing about this Drake and Kendrick diss is it’s clearing out a lot of cornball people and shit that’s been going on in rap. Half the rap blogs and hip hop pages can’t even cover the kendrick disses properly because the majority of them are white or non black and the main theme by Kendrick is drake is a corny colonizer and that applies to a lot of rap journalist and fans.

The thing is, this Drake vs Kendrick beef goes beyond what meets the eye. Black people are starting to have deeper conversations about our community that extend beyond the beef. Then here comes DJ Vlad, a white man, saying he doesn’t like the "beat." His response mirrors how non-Black people are viewing this beef-just surface level. Yes, the professor did come off as rude, but hip-hop culture is Black people’s culture and a safe space. This belongs to us-not the white man. DJ Vlad acting like that and reporting her is wrong. Because if she started commenting on Jewish culture and he didn’t like it, and she threatened him via his job, that would be completely wrong. Hip-hop is Black people's culture, and we as a community should be and are sensitive to who chooses to criticize it, just as the Jewish community would be and are.

As a black man and a supporter of the honorable minister, Louis Farrakhan and somebody that watches Vlad TV I gotta say this is all corny. I don’t champion rap music exclusively to Black people it hasn’t done enough, if anything to advance us as a people. It’s entertainment, not quantum physics or discovering how to beat cancer. Vlad is also a cornball for saying what he said and that’s why Black people don’t like him because he’s always trying to flex his ✡️ power. And YES Jack Harlow is my that guy 💪🏾😂!

that so called ""insufferable woman" you speak about in such a rude way is Darkchild's Neice bro. Literal hip hop royalty. Now do i agree with how she came at Vlad? No but Im sorry i have to say as a black person we are very very tired of non black people voicing their opinion on black culture and black issues when thats the only time you comment and don't offer help to said cultures without some kind of financial gain for the yt person. Hell we don't like foreigners in general like akademics (btw if anyone wonders why ak gets so much hate really go back to his war in chiraq series, he was literally calling known killers rebards and taunting him, making fun of the families, its truly a miracle how he is still alive.) Hip hop has and no matter how yt people try to wash away its roots, but started as a way to let the world know whats going on in the inner cities. They were telling you about the drugs, the killings, the hopelessness. It was our way to be heard when we felt voiceless. Even the concept of MCing came from how in that time schools were cutting music programs and it then cause less black kids to learn an instrument. We literally took the scraps, a dusty mic and some old turntables and changed the world. Vlad also has been hated in hip hop id say since his Rap Phenonemon mixtapes (specifically the third one with Jay Z) cause a lot of those artist didnt want to be on those projects. One of those was a Tupac one and while some of the family appreciated it, from my understanding pac's sister didnt. This is honestly typical behavior in someone like a vlad where literally not a damn soul was thinking or asking vlad about his opinion. I get it he has been a part of hip hop for 30 years, but he knows for a damn fact this is a moment for the culture, not him. All the stupid 50/50 relationship twitter wars, all the of 304, and corn, went the fuck away cause of this beef for a week and it was great. Even OF models knew no one wanted to see their bafoonery atm and some commented saying "shit im invested too, if drake is a chomo imma have to change me streaming playlist" if the 304's knew to stay out of it, and vlad couldnt, then he should forvever be flamed. Vlad has done this before too where someone came at him he tagged their job, they then go private mode. Vlad met his match and of all people, its darkchild's neiece someone vlad has interviewed in the past hence "stop contacting my family". Honestly hip hop in general needs a reset. We need to sit down and ask "who is actually helping our culture?" I may be black but i listen to all types of music and you dont see this in other genre's. Maybe the K pop scene cause that scene is full of weirdos (the commentary side) but in metal they dont have a akademics, or a vlad. Only in hip hop do we allow this. And before some child responds or says "i aint gonna read all that" i forgot which rapper or comedian said this but "unless u 35 and over don't come at me with what you think" cause 90% of people doing commentary in hip hop can't even name 5 other songs from ready to die or even name 4 songs from a krs one album.

@@lytacon I said in the comment I didn't like how she answered him. But again it comes from a place where esp yt men says something to a black person in a way to undermine them. Saying she's insufferable is something he could have kept out. But he didn't so I will bring it up. And I noticed that esp non black men do not like black women to speak in a certain way. It seems like unless a black woman is submissive and a sexual deviant that's the only a lot of people care to even to listen to what they got to say. Noticed a trend this woman, no name, and the other girl. Bigger women who are very opinionated. Again do I agree with what she said? No but again he isn't black so for him to say that it's a way to discredit her. If you don't believe me cardi b is very opinionated but a lot of people rather listen to her. Why? More easy on the eyes. So yea this is a case where a kid. Yes a literal kid is speaking about a woman that could run laps on him about hip hop which he profits from. A better way to handle it is "this woman, I may not like some of the views I have had something to say" see it's a way to say I don't agree with her but not throwing her under the bus. And I find it funny how he nor vlad knew this was dark child's neice. How little journalism can you do these days. They were saying it was his niece in the tweets so for him to say in the video "I don't know who this is" is again disrespectful when all he had to do was look for another ten seconds and figure out who she is and who dark child is. But judging by his content he would call dark child an Ol head cause he hasn't worked with ye or carti.
