Yes, the professor did come off as rude, but hip-hop culture is Black people’s culture and a safe space. This belongs to us-not the white man. DJ Vlad acting like that and reporting her is wrong. Because if she started commenting on Jewish culture and he didn’t like it, and she threatened him via his job, that would be completely wrong. Hip-hop is Black people's culture, and we as a community should be and are sensitive to who chooses to criticize it, just as the Jewish community would be and are.
