Thanks for responding to my request!! By the look on your face, I knew that you enjoyed it so much. "I Wish I" is another great song for them, if you want to react more to Gacharic Spin. Or you can do Doll$Boxx, an amazing collaboration between Gacharic Spin and Unlucky Morpheus' vocalist, Fuki. "Take My Chance" or "Shout Down" would be great for first song to react to. Thanks again!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

"I don't even know what to call this." Gacharic Spin will do that to you. They aren't metal but they're a super talented creative band and one of my favorites despite usually being more of a metal fan. Glad you see you enjoyed it. Maybe try "I wish I" for something with a harder edge from them.

Hell yes, Gacharic Spin kick some ass. Def try I wish I next! For something else out of left field to blow your mind: Maximum the Hormone - Yoshu Fukushu. Edit: I see you have already done one MtH song. Recommend this for next one :) Or to step away from Japan for a sec, try a trip to Canada with Unleash the Archers - Awakening!

TYVM for checking them out. IMHO F-Chopper Koga is arguably the best bassist in Asia. Hana sings and plays multiple instruments, not just drums. Angelina 1/3 (vocals, pink hair) is a recent addition to the band and Oreo (keyboard) sings lead sometimes as well. Yurie was on break after having a baby and wasn't featured in the video but is the regular drummer now that Hana is backing up the ultra talented Tomo-Zo on guitar and singing as well. I've been a Gacharic Spin fan for a while now and I'm a metal head. Their talents are undeniable. They cannot be pigeonholed into a single genre, nor should they. They're unique, kinetic, funky and I absolutely adore them all. ❤

I'd also like to add that Hana mixes in screamo sometimes and she sounds PHENOMENAL when she does. 🤘🤘🤘

As everyone has said try I Wish I next. They play and mix a lot of subgenres of rock with metal and prog influences on some songs.Other songs to check out are Kakuhen,Gold Dash.Check out Lock On (mv with their original vocalist Armmy (she died in 2015 from an undisclosed illness).

Gacharic Spin are my favourite band! Combination of fantastic technical skills combined with great pop song writing and a love of all genres so you never really quote know exactly what you're going to get. I agree with what some people have suggested regarding "I Wish I" by them as a good follow up to see a different side. DOLL$BOXX is also fantastic. There's so much you can dig into for Gacharic Spin, and their live stuff is absolute amazing, I won't overload you with suggestions though!

Ha, it is most definately hard to say anything about Gacharic Spin, they do all kinds of styles, mixing everything together, always full-on... And yes, they can *all* sing, Oreo on keys does a bit of backup here, but she has lead parts here and there, as does Hana (drums in this one). Hana does *everything* though, drums, guitar, household items, even tapdancing. There's a ton of cool stuff by them, and it's all weird in some way XD They did a kind of spinoff side project while they had no lead singer with Fuki of Unlucky Morpheus and Light Bringer fame, called DOLL$BOXX, that leans a bit more towards the metal-y side of things, still fusing all manner of styles, and it's awesome as well. Since that's not enough they were (or maybe even are, not sure if it's still a thing) also doing another alter ego band called Metallic Spin, doing covers of classic heavy metal songs. I heard that at one time they even had a concert as Gacharic Spin in the afternoon, left, took a pause, and re-entered as DOLL$BOXX for a second concert in the evening, which is pretty crazy to me.

You just found some of the most talented musicians around You will never pin down Gacharic Spin sound. They seemingly reinvent themselves every album . They do it all. Funk , rock , pop. Metal (ish) psychedelic space punk , even some seventies groove funk ( song is generation gap ) Try redline if you like cheeseburgers

Check out Rolling Quarts. All girl Korean. Japanese skill. Korean style. Their live version of their song Rock and Roll Paradise came out less than a month ago. But it doesn't really matter. Check out their KZread channel. Everything on it Is Gold. Great reaction brother! 😊😎🤘🤘✌️🎸

You know you're listening to a good band when you don't know what air instrument to play. :) You have all the info you need to Gacharic Spin (good pronunciation, BTW). My personal recommendation would be the following live version of Hunting Summer: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mIuE27qTqsi8Y7w.html You'll see why they describe themselves as an entertainment group. Their DOLL$BOXX side project is the heavier stuff. Some common things you'll find with Japanese music: Exceptional musicianship; Not constrained by genre boundaries; A big jazz/funk influence; Strong visual identities; High levels of entertainment. The rock and metal bands are great, but I'd also recommend the strange world of alternative idols. Groups like BiS, BiSH, PassCode and WAGAMAMA RAKIA will all challenge your expectations. I see you've heard LADYBABY already. Enjoy exploring.
