People in the comment section don't seem to grasp the concept of remake. It's not just a plain cover, it's a remake so it doesnt have to copy the original. People are looking for this & that fr the original version but that's not the purpose that's why they rearranged it. They intentionally changed the vibe to keep it distinct fr the original bc they are a different artists & they want to keep the original vibe to the original artist, BTS who they very much respect. They know that only BTS can portray that dark, painful emotion bc that's personal to them that's why they didnt try to copy it, bc it'd feel inorganic, but rather recreate it using their own vibe, style & emotion while still giving credits to BTS. They said they worked even harder for this project bc they have to honor one of the greatest artists who inspired them to pursue their dream & that's BTS. I hope those toxic armys in the comment section realize that this is not a competition or a way to appeal to others or be like BTS. Again, this project is to give tribute to the artist who inspired them that's why it's called "My First Kpop Crush". Whether you like it or not doesnt matter, just keep it respectful. Pls stop comparing. After all, it's loved by their fans & they fulfilled their goal for this one, that's all that matters.

this is in the same vein as other Hybe groups approaching a new recording of a known song. Coldplay and Oasis are groups BTS carefully covers. imo imo they appeal to a crossover audience staying true to the song while re-working what makes it best there. Spotify did label this ENHYPHEN covers "I NEED U" by BTS so there is that.

the vocals 👏 enhypen is the only 4th gen gp that impressed me with almost all songs in their discography. the improvement they had within the past one, two years is so impeccable. i'd say they live up to their motto of the team quite well. 'connect, discovery and growth'

Yay. Niki my Enhypen bias. He’s grown up now. They are like my babies. I watched them from ILand. They are amazing and finding their own character.

The one in the light beige jacket in the centre with the red mic is Heeseung. He's the one who started and ended the song here, and sang most parts of the "I need you" chorus. You mentioned that "he is the strongest vocalist, is stable, and just brings the energy". Heeseung is the main vocalist of Enhypen. Thank you for appreciating him.

they did a great job. for me, it's hard to imagine a cover of that song in general but what enhypen did is more like a remake and OG producers including Namjoon is credited for this rearranged version. I find this arrangement extremely smooth and really enjoy this new vibe.

For a lover of deep low parts (from Ni-ki))) and familiarity with Enhypen, I would advise you to listen to Criminal Love, Вlind (멀어) - these songs are incredibly good! Also Bite Me is one of the best songs of the group for me personally))

They did so good in this remake. It‘s actually so difficult to do a remake with a song like „I need you“ because everyone know this song and of course they will be a comparison to BTS - but they killed it. EN- has so much respect for BTS and the relation to ARMY and its really sad to see that also they all from the same company that some Fans here don’t support them. for those enhypen fans, it's normal to see pressed and toxic armymoas barking in Jino's comment sections. Not all of them are bad though, so don't take them personally. I'm only ARMY for almost 9 years. These boys did a great job and even in a general sense, like Jino mentioned, their vocals remind me so much more of BTS' even though the colours are different. Keep it up enhypen!

Enhypen does not have blue rush songs. You are confusing TXT songs & Enhypen songs. They are both from HYBE but have completely diff type of music. I prefer Enhypen. Check their discography because even their B sides are so good. For me personally I prefer Enhypen talents more although TXT have better vocals but I prefer Enhypen musics and dancing abilities.

Nice Enhypen! Jimin's natural high pitch and reaching notes is really hard to replicate so it's understanble that Enhypen made a little adjustment on Jimin's part. Overall, Enhypen did an excellent job on this song.
