DJ Paul of 3 6 Mafia Talks "Extendos", Running Real Estate and "Tearing the Club up" at age 80

Ойын-сауық

Close friend of Sway and key member of 3 6 Mafia DJ Paul swung by to hang out early in the morning. Adding to the long list of hits (over 90 projects in the catalog), he has some more heat lined up in the new single “Extendos” off his upcoming ‘Da Light Up Da Poe Up’ mixtape.
Extending beyond the music scene, DJ Paul stays busy building his portfolio running his own real estate company in Tennessee and flexing in the kitchen with his own cooking show. Joking with the SITM crew saying those things are necessary for his “retirement” as he can’t see himself turning up on a cruise ship yelling “Tear the club up” at age 80.
You can check out the laid back conversation between two former neighbors right here.

why dont they ever ask Paul interesting shit like: "did you ever even slightly worship the devil? Koopsta said yall did." "Why dont you incorporate more of a horrocore/devil vibe in yalls music now?" "how did people receive yall back in the day when yall were actually called Triple Six Mafia and your content was more controversial?" Ask him interesting shit. Nobody wants to talk about those bulshit ass songs like Slob on My Knob. They had a whole other era before songs like Sippin on Syrup smh

irandleIV Even tho Sway knows his shit, I don't think he knows anything about their underground tapes or 90s Memphis in general. Whenever Paul brings something up about them in any interview he has with Sway, Sway is just like "yeah um yeah yeah yeah forsure you guys had a whole catalog" then shuts up lol It's annoying af, I wanna hear more about that era as well but these radio personalities only know bout late 90s Three 6 and after

+Travis Garrison koop has a whole documentary where he basically says that they were on some other shit back then, reading Warlock books and carrying inverted crosses and whatnot. Gangsta Boo said her mother even kicked her out of the house behind reading witchcraft books. Paul would occasionally low key diss "niggaz that can't hang with this devil shit" allegedly talking about guys that left the group because it kinda got too spooky for them. Koop talks about this shit. They should ask Paul more about it. Ask him about his fascination with serial killers. Interesting shit like that. The name of the original group was Triple Six Mafia and their beats used to be hard as fuck with horror movie samples and a demonic undertone to them.

+taecamperva I respect your likes or dislikes towards an artist. Now here is my take, the reason why I want to see Nellys interview is because on that same day he went on Hot 97 and had alot to say but the interviewrs there do not let them speak alot on that show. But on Sway the artist is able to speak and Nelly has alot to speak about form how he became from Country Grammar to the hard situation after the tip drill video from losing his sister being a single father founding schools giving out scholarship the ferguson movement the list goes on. Now perhaps you dont appreciate that and its ok but on the other hand its good to hear our artist drop some knowledge on the world
