Those tubes look awesome. A weighted base seems necessary if used on a stage. Good job on running concurrent shows. That can be a logistical nightmare, but your preproduction checklist is a smart way to avoid snafus.

Awesome video. Love your lighting. You stated that the VRX subs didn't sound to your liking at 80-120hz. That may be too high. Try crossing them over at 80hz. Your tops should be able to pick up the rest. Also, running multiple VRX tops 2-3 per side (use them as a line array), you could ditch the SRX tops......the system should sound much better.

I’m also a dj I like my music loud with a lot of bass

For master slave it doesnt matter. When we dmx we are running 40 channel mode.

I did not DJ this prom. Marcellus did. I will be DJing one in 2 weeks and my playlist will be available then

I built most of my own road cases. ( ok the quality isn't there but still better than everything free to roll around the back of the vehicle. If lucky in the cardboard boxes they came in ). One I built is not are long as that at about 4'7" ( 1.4m ) but deeper and wider. it is for all the light and speaker stands. I call it the coffin. #squad The best part of the night, the pull down.

Ha This is what made me a favorite in my town.. Tweaking and repairing sound systems while saving the venue owner a ton of money.. Or walking into a club and Security, Bartenders, Promoters begging me to fix the sound since their new low budget djs have no clue 😅.. I feel bad for the newer generations. They have no idea what Quality means 🤦🏽‍♂️

Hey rick. I reached out to Both. Shame the IR4’s and the new titan tube run on a different remote / DMX channel. Unlike APE labs which one remote does it all. I have a set of the IR4’s and contemplating the titan tubes or ape sticks to go with my cans / coins and poss maxis. Yes they’re expensive compared to the both but like Apple it just works. How do you like the new Titan tubes ? Bright enough ? Guess they’re trying to compare with Astera tubes. Great Gig log as usual. PS, I’m UK based so can’t come to you direct sorry. If i was in the US i defo would 🇬🇧🇺🇸 🍻

Extremely bright. And I would highly recommend checking out my sound switch video. Ape labs "it just works" programming is super limited and investing a little into dmx will transform your light show so much more

This is probably a stupid question- Do the Both wireless systems work with the DONNER transmitters? Or do you have to get the bOth transmitter? And then run both (transmitters)… Both- just had to sneak one more into n there

They work the same. All those china based transmitter recievers work on same channels

Check out Joe Bunn's video he compared directly. In short: both lighting is 360 design instead of 180. Both lighting are bigger in both length and diameter around. Both lighting is 60% cheaper. Lol

To each there own. Cali DJs are outside all the time. You have to make an educated decision on if its worth the risk vased on weather.

Just the feet. They have a standard m5 camera mount thread on the bottom and the top of the tubes

As someone who did order the ape labs...they are really cool but no way to mount them and. the magnets are nowhere near as strong as I think they need to be. I want a set of these , they have feet
