Like your post. I'm a 80 year old DIY that has the 16" bag and I Love the techclip pouches to hold my drill and other stuff. I like the pill bottle idea for small items. Also have the toughbuilt bag with wheels. For Christmas got me and son n law a back pack tool bag to go up and down ladders with certain tools. Hope you have a good week. Wife won't let me go to Lowes tool dept alone anymore. 🤣

The techclip stuff has made a big difference in how I work. The ability to just swap out pouches and pull them in and off in 1 second is game changing. Now that I have loaded this bag down I am sort of wishing I had the one on wheels! 😅 I keep thinking Lowe’s needs to put the household department next to the tool department. That what it’s easier for husbands to sneak away while the women are distracted. 😂 All the best my friend!

I have this tote and it's fantastic. It's what I use for service calls (Security Industry) I have the Large Rolling Tote as well that I keep my laptop and programming equipment in. I can stack the tote on top of the rolling one and it stays very well. for project work I have a bunch of the Rigid Pro Gear boxes but I like so much of what Toughbuilt is doing Im going to upgrade to the Stacktech system, Probably going to retire the rigid boxes and keep them for my camping gear.

Hi Guys!!! Awesome video! Thanks Dude! Hey, for saw blade and file storage, I used a 1" PVC pipe about 12" long with caps on the end (no gluing). I hammered one cap on and the other cap, I cut several slits in it to make it easy to get off without falling off. And, for bit and other small item storage, I've found several good plastic boxes in the fishing and craft sections at Walmart. 🙂

Right on man! The pvc pipe hack is a good idea! I am constantly looking for little boxes and storage solutions of bits and blades. I recently ordered a bunch of small containers off Temu. They should come in super handy

You could put the clip underneeth the shoulderstrap clip. Plenty off space on the sides

Hey Nick, also brand new to producing KZread content and hoping to build a channel. Enjoyed the video, but definitely a little long winded (I watched all of it. 😉) I have seen some videos on ways to improve your videos, and one I think I will use, that you may also find helpful, is to throw together a quick script of what to say and points to hit on so that there isn’t so much wasted space. For me this was just about setting up the camera and just doing something to start. I almost took it down...haha. I love the toughbuilt clip tech pouches. I have had tool bags/backpacks/rolling stacks. But now most of my tools are in pouches and I can put the job specific ones on my belt. Bc everything else ends up just being catch alls and next thing I know I’m just carrying way too many tools putting strain on my back and shoulders carrying a bunch of crap I don’t need.

It's slightly bulkier than my usual Mexican electricians rig: tool bag on the right, supply left, bit\demo bag behind tool, additional supply (canvas Klein bolt bag on left, leaves the center spot, either a framing hammer, a drill, hackzall, or even a T bar and a pair of flatbars, nobody makes that bag but Mexica. But yeah, if you don't have to go far, bags and totes are twtg, I literally had to buy a massive mouth roller just to hold the belt lol. But fully loaded, I didn't even need the suspenders, and could just thread a doorway without having to turn sideways!

You can use one of those key hooks that attach to your pants.

Is this bag a 12", or 16" ? I have used a set of 3 different see thru bags with clips for my odds and ends. Like your post. Love the tech clips.

This bag is the 16" one. It has evolved a bit from this initial video. I'm starting to figure out how I want to use it. I might do another one in a few months after quite a bit of use. Cheers!

I guess you don’t work outside in the rain or snow. Nothing like having a tool chest full of water mixed in with your tools. Since this is your first episode, it might farewell to you and the audience to condense your video in 20 minutes segments or less. This means you could actually have three episodes instead of casting into one.

That is true, I don’t work outside in the rain or snow. My day job is inside. Renovation is something I do on the side. I used to work construction, but even then we didn’t leave out tool totes out in the rain. Thanks for the content tip Larry! And thanks for the comment!
