To get a 14s setup running with relay board you would need:
1 Main board (Order from JLCPCB)
1 Wemos mini
1 Programmer
14 slave/monitor modules (Order from JLCPCB)
14 Attiny841 microcontrollers
50 connectors (3 extra)
couple of pin male and female headers. I recommend getting both single row and dual row.
Ebay links (They give me a small commision)

    A BMS system is important and its all about what you need in the end. Its important to understand the difference between a enterprise BMS and a DIY version :) DIY Bms is made for personal home use and not for production systems

    JLPCB needs to make open source/ hardware pcb's set up that they can save the setup and make it as easy as clicking a link to set everything up but the billing and shipping. Would be wonders for affiliate links to amazon too. Instead of a ton of links, one link that will add multiple parts. That would make kiting so much easier.

    Hi, do you have in your portfolio ESP32 multiphase MPPT / BUCK / charger ? I try to make 45 A x 4 = four phase ESP32 MPPT, which means 180 Amps, 150 V IN, 12 - 72 V OUT to LFP.

  • @PavolFilek

    @@DIYTechRepairs It is simple. ESP32 makes PWM / 1 to 4 phases /, IR2104 drives IRFP4110 or IRFP4568, one diode, on bootstrap cap, one to 4 - 45 amps coils, and IN 4000 uF 150 V and out 2000 uF 100 V caps. Thats all. Some Al od Cu cooler for FETs and active PWM fan 12 V / 1 A. Big in and out connections to handle 45 to 180 Amps + good DC fuses.

    it probaly costs more than buying a smart 300A BMS already made on Aliexpress (I paid about 60 dollars US for it) and it comes with bluetooth and an app on your phone to control it.

  • @DIYTechRepairs

    @DIYTechRepairs

    "Probably". Without shunt/breaker the DIY Bms cost around 40USD for 14s setup. Then its pretty cheap to expand since it can do 100s as well or 4x14s in same controller for close to nothing :=) Every extra cell cost around 2USD for the newest board that also have extra external temp sensor. So it depends on what you want to compare it to and what function you want/need. The smart BMS is for smaller compact systems and Ebike like systems. This is for larger systems where you want to spread it out and need higher current. This is also DIY system compare to a manufacturer made one. DIY BMS is fully web based so no need for an app. :)
