Гениальная идея. Для жёсткости можно деревянный брусок заменить на металлический, квадратного сечения и для ответной части, гайки заменить на барашки, для быстрой переустановки. Спасибо за идею!

Great Idea !! Thanks !!! 2 things ... use oil for drilling metal and DO NOT USE GLOVES WHEN DRILLING !!! I know a guy that lost 3 fingers when the drill caught his glove. It " seems " like a safe idea but it is NOT. Take care and work safe PLEASE !!

Slow RPMs while drilling through metal and add some lubrication. It'll cut better and save your bits from wearing out as fast. Love the idea! Definitely gave me lots of inspiration.

How to spend $20 to make a $10 clamp.

Wy are you using grinding blades for your meadle cuting when they make reger cuting blades and wount heat up your tools so fast

Is that 3x2 or 4x2 you are using here, please?

Try some oil on the clamp when drilling

Go to a metal workshop and ask them to drill for you at a small fee.

Clever but a set of pipe clamps would cost less than a good C clamp and you can mount them on wood if you want. I hate ruining or sacrificing one tool to make another, especially for little or no gain.

Cheapest C-clamp (100mm) i found = 2,90€. Cheapest pipe clamp I found = 19,00€. Looks like there's a gain.
