So smart to use the white glue. The hot glue leaves gaps between the blocks. That was a lot of blacks to paint but it turned out awesome!

To speed up the painting lay the blocks side by side and in rows then paint all at once, clamped together or put in a small box, Tupperware, etc to keep them close maybe between two books whatever to keep them tight BUT NOT globs of paint either :). Also since you used the frame as a base no need to glue them side by side together just hot glue them to the base. It can be a thin piece of wood, if you want foam board you will need to glue them together to keep it stable. I Love the two-tone! OH Hey....clamp these down and sand before painting will really speed this GEM of a project up! And use drawer pulls to make usable handles.

What a darling tray! I have never been able to find the Jenga style blocks at any of my Dollar Tree stores. Seems like everyone else has no trouble finding them.

Hi stopping by from Kat's channel. Good job. Aleene's glue at Dollar Tree works good on those blocks too. Dries rather quickly and the hold is awesome too. Sweet tray!

I love this tray! If it wasn't in your challenge I'd still love it. I got the impression you found this to be very tedious to do. Maybe doing it in sections would be easier.
