Great job with the table. Mate, you should sell that cad drawing of the table. If you price it right, you could help a lot of enthusiasts like yourself and make some money as well. Win win I say.
Table looks great

Ooo 😯 good music
Great work mate, Spray the top with R1 from Chemtools, it will protect the table from rusting and is non-flamable unlike other products.

Get the mil scale of with a stone or scotch brite pad on a grinder then keep a canola oil spray can on hand and give it a spray from time to time. Better earthing and anti spatter properties plus non toxic when it gets hot

You can use Anti spatter, nozzel dip, spray cooking oil or paint it with coldgal All these things work to stop spatter and you should still have an earth

Loving the build, explanations, detail and I was thinking of doing the same as a welding table, are you able to share the file? Looks wicked. I have the same dilemma, as my first welding Tig project I made a table out of 75x25 900x600 with 30mm gap between and that was before I understood distortion so I now need aflat table. Love the work you are putting into the series mate keep up the awesome work 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Matthew, DM me on instagram and maybe we can work something out.
Just use paste wax on the surface of the table. Just a clean and buff and it comes up great.

Any chance you could give some indications on price of the laser cutting, just a few experience based prices. Seems like such a great option vs other techniques.

Hey Mitch, I could sell you the Laser cutting for around $900.
How much did the laser cutting cost?
Nice build, would you share the cad file ?
I have a 1400x900 20mm thick steel plate i use as a welding table, been thinking about getting it cut in the same grid pattern, does anyone know a ball park figure for getting it cut in Australia? Never got anything lasered or water jetted before

Hey Gabe, honestly have no idea, it’s hard to say because I’ve been paying for material and they don’t break it down between the two. 20mm is pretty damn thick! Give a laser cutter a buzz and get a quote :)!
Hi frome Mexico, my name is Ezekiel or Ez, I well love to you help me if you can send me how to do the well table.. for u can build it ne the same .I love you table...
maybe stone it then anti splater spray

What’s a flat pack worth?
@DesignedandBuilt
3 жыл бұрын
Depends if I just supply the laser cutting or the wheels as & legs as well. Depends what you're after. I think around $900 for the laser cutting + post/pickup.
Whats the chances of sending me a pdf file of the cad so i can build one for my self. Or send me one as a flat pack ???

Definitely would be willing to send out as a flat pack, reluctant to give out my drawings and dxfs. If you have a laser cutter I might be able to send it on through!
