Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We have made a home made weed wiper. We are trying new methods to improve our hay quality. We have one more harvesting for this year, so we shall see if it improves any.

***** About Diamond B Farm *****
Purchased in 1994, the year Kevin and Cindy married, the farm has been our home for 27 years. My parents are city slickers but found their way to farming through a mentor and other friends who showed horses. My name is Haley, and I am the main person running this account and only child and daughter to Kevin and Cindy. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family who has a strong value for agriculture. We have traveled the United States showing livestock and doing various judging competitions. We raise registered Charolais beef cattle, Belgium draft horses, Orpington chickens, Jumbo Coturnix quail, and a whole barn yard of other animals. I will be graduating soon from a 4-year institution and decided that we needed to start showing people what it is like living on a farm and how easy it can be to implement small farming practices in your life.
We currently upload every Tuesday but hope to start generating more content as summer starts, so be sure to like and comment on our videos and subscribe to our channel. We hope you all gain some kind of an education from our videos and urge you to go out on a limb and try something new outside.

This is brilliant! I am a 70 year old woman farmer and I am definitely going to make one of these. Thanks!
I've struggled to find good information on building a weed wipe. I will be building one after watching this thank you.
Great Video. Going to build one after watching this.
Thank you so much for step by step building this wiper!😀 Excellent!
by front mounting your tires will pick up and spread chemical, killing things you dont want to kill. why not rear mount, or even better, side mount (think sickle mower)

But if your rear mount it you might mash down any of the higher up weeds you’re killing
Fantastic! Exactly what I needed! Thank you for your time and for sharing!
Excellent video thanks for sharing
Nice, exactly what I need
Very informative! Thank you.
loved your video and clear instructions, gonna change mine to your pattern
Absolutely fantastic video! I’m in Australia and the ones on the market are about $3,500. This video is exactly what I needed. Off to make one tomorrow to attach to the tractor bucket arm ❤️
This is great I'm going to make one. When preparing to spray I always add the roundup after the water and then drive around for a little bit to mix it up. This avoids the foaming up and I'm sure the same could be done with this. I also add a die.
How long does it take the round up to soak into the wicks and what is the coverage? How much will one fill treat? Great video, building mine tomorrow.
What are the part numbers for the pvc connectors that are screwed into the main tube?
Will any nylon rope work?
Thank you very much for sharing this idea. How long does it take for the weed killer to soak into the wicks? Do the wicks drip much when you stop? I'm trying to make a wick wiper to kill dallis grass in my turf type tall lawn fescue. Presently the fescue is growing slower than the dallisgrass and I'm hoping to wipe glyphosate on the dallisgrass and do minimal contact with the fescue.

Depending on how the mix is Some times I have to wet the rope to get it to wick
Thank you for sharing. Quick question - roughly how many acres will this treat before it needs to be refilled ? Thank you.

I have never gotten close to running g out
Should you put one on the back to stop tracking from tires?

I think if you do then the stuff the tires run over and bends down doesn't get wiped. If you were really concerned you would have to go off the sides. But yeah your tires would leave a few marks for a few feet I bet.
Thank you...does this ever drip from the rope?
