Keep the videos coming brother! There getting better and better! I appreciate what you do for the F community. Question, my trunk spoiler on my '11 Obsidian is hazing up pretty bad. I want to wrap it, but don't want to remove it. I don't want the clips to break. Can I wrap it with the spoiler installed?

Thanks for the feedback!! Mines is also faded pretty badly and I was considering wrapping it. Ive seen someone did it on the forums but based off my experience and the nature of the thick carbon vinyl, it may be difficult to do to be honest. Im sure you’ll get by if you do it yourself. Just a matter of tucking the vinyl away in-between the spoiler and trunk. Look into vinyl primer from 3m. Ill make a video on that as well actually. Maybe if you wait, ill wrap my trunk spoiler.

Awesome videos, love your car. How is the fitment of the roof spoiler on your back window? I bought a carbon fiber one off ebay for my is350 but the fitment seems terribly warped and never laid flat on all sides on the window. 3M tape holds it pretty well, but one side is starting to lift after a couple weeks already due to warp. Wondering if they're all like this or should i try buying a different one?

Yeah I had to add 2 layers of tape on the sides, but left the middle on the spoiler with 1 layer. its holding pretty well so far since my last video. I think the replica ones are like this..

Hey man if you are interested RWCarbon has some really nice and affordable cf parts. Not frp base with cf wrap either its all carbon fiber. They have everything well kind of lol.

You should watch the video of wrap master where he does a hood on a blue audi in front of an audience. He is insanely good but also gives a great tutorial . I belive he is the one that started wrapping academy or something like that

Where did you get that wrap

Great wrap job. However roof spoilers will negate your rear spoiler airflow. IsFs need down force on their rear for high speed stability. Do you have a stock rear spoiler or larger?

After doing a fair amount of research, I think a good downforce set up would be 1. a front lip with a smooth transition to the underbody that goes about 1.5-2 feet length back ie. the skid plate. 2. A rear diffuser that actually is functional. ie. the angle allows air to slope up and out so the airstream does not detach as opposed to sharp angles like toms. Toms is for show only. 3. A duck bill spoiler approx 4-6 inches length back. 4.possibly side skirts but it depends. More research needed. Im not an Engineer but i am a new isf owner and im pretty good at learning the quirks of specific cars then finding out how to minimize the problem areas.

Sun destroys carbon fiber. It will start yellowing if you drive alot or if it's not garage kept

Ray E this isn't my video I have however wrapped mine and its held up great use a heat gun though for the corners etc

one of these video that's harder to do than it looks..

The Thicker the Material....Sometimes,....the easier to work with....With a heat gun...Not a blow Dryer! This Piece....I can do in 30 Mins With a Thick Wrap....15 with a thin. NO Heat Applied. Any Piece Off the car.....U shouldn't have to add heat...Stretch and pull/! But NEVER Use a Blow Dryer with Vinyl.....UNLESS your DIY
