You have created more winter wonders.

You have definitely inspired me! My dad died 10 years ago, and he blessed his HUGE old grangehall (1910 it was built) to my sisters and I. He restored old trunks from the 1800's and all kinds of furniture. He was truly amazing and he saved all kinds of wonderful hardware and drawer pulls ( you name it and he had it!) and wood furniture parts like you can't believe (just like the ones you just did!) and a nice wood stack. You would love it there, Yvonne! Anyhow, what a great way to use up some of my dad's stash. You did a fantastic job and I'm always amazed at how you think way out of the box and you're a trailblazer for us watching..... I love your videos and think you are so sweet and funny and talented ❤

Love that old chippy look, but you have to be careful that it is not lead paint. Being an old piece you should do a lead test. You can pick that up at home depot or probably any paint store.

I can't believe I have never thought of that. Lead paint is dangerous, especially when sanding. It should always be painted over.

@@cassfonnesbeck8057 Especially if you are selling it to someone. Chips may fall off and there may be children in the home. Sometimes I think I am overly cautious.

It's ok unless you eat it. You should wear a mask and gloves for any sanding.

I absolutely loved the first pair of skates, especially how they turned up at the bottom! Hanging a red & black plaid stocking on the upturned blade of each skate would be a nice way for someone, who doesn't have a fireplace, to hang their Christmas Stockings, then after Christmas they can remove the stockings & still keep the sign up on their wall for the rest of the Winter. Love it all, Yvonne!

Your collection of skates were amazing. You were lucky to get them. I really love what you did with the skates. Very high end looks. I have an old pair of skates. They still look new-er-ish. I think I need to take the sander to them and use my own stain that I make to help with the aging process. I have a few old cupboard doors laying around. This may be the perfect project for me to do.
