OK folk art has the jadeite paint in glossy finish..I got it at Michael's. Also vintage buttons or rusty jingle bells would be cute on the thread spool bottle brush trees. All so cute!

i bought miniature wood planters and bins…i put miniature bottle brush trees and lamp posts in them for my Christmas village, it looks so real and amazing what a difference it makes to the village.

I have my grandmothers really old trees and they have been smashed over many years…….definitely going to try this to fluff them back up!

Alternately, I would glue the smooshed side of a bottle brush tree to the back wall of a Christmas diorama. When drying the jadeite baubles which I LOVE, one could put spread out chopsticks into a foam or oasis block and put the baubles hole side onto a chopstick to dry.

I have loved bottle brush trees ever since I was a kid. My Great Aunt Dot had THE most beautiful Xmas ornaments and decor. She had bb trees in every color… most were made from the aluminum(?) brushes from back in the day… those suckers would hurt… for YEARS they weren’t popular and if you COULD find em, they were $$$$. But NOW they are everywhere!!!! My collection (never a hoard) has grown exponentially over the past 2 years- but especially THIS year. If I’m out and see some size shape or color I like… I’m honestly not sure how many j have now cause I get them for ANY and EVERY holiday they put them out… not big on embellishments on them imo they don’t need any… I’m pulling them all out now!!! I did a bunch in salt shakers. I filled the shaker with beads, gems, and sequins. Added a bit of snow. I found colored glass shakers on clearance at Dollar General.
