I am so excited that another beginner attempted the same chairs. I have two of them that I have accumulated over the years through FB Marketplace. They don't match each other (or anything in my house), but they are so comfortable and cool looking! I can't wait to upolster them and this channel is helping me to not feel so overwhelmed by the process. I know this is an older video (and I have no subscribed to the channel) do you have any estimate of the amount of time on labor a single chair took and/or the total estimated cost per chair (not including the chair, just the materials). Thank you so much!

Now on to the second chair. Wow, what a beautiful job you did. Leaving the front fabric on was clever. It was probably hard to keep the sticky glue off the fabric while placing it on the chair. Great job.

What gage of staples are you using?

When you tuck the fabric into the creases between each channel of the clamshell, does it stay in there?

As long as you use the fabric adhesive first then yes it stays. Hasn’t moved since. Thanks for watching Cheri and hope you enjoyed the video.

Is it okay to cover a leather sofa the same way with a fabric as well?

Good questions David but unfortunately I don't know for sure. The adhesive might have a hard time permanently bonding to leather. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.

umm ya impatience on the top part did not work out. The creases look so messy and unprofessional, that would drive me crazy. I commend you for doing it, but people learn from this- Take your time!
