DIY Trolling Motor Tiller Handle Extension

Спорт

This is an approximate 18 inch extension of a modified tiller extension handle. I modified this handle for a DIY kayak trolling motor tiller steering project which can be viewed in another of my videos. Total cost of this project was less than $2.

Thanks Wayn. Yes, you could add more spaced holes in the PVC extension for multiple lengths.

What is the brand/item called of the original extension you bought? This is pretty slick!

Is this for your kayak? Or boat? Cool vid. You're good at this stuff. I wonder if you could make a swivel extender for a kayak.

Thanks! This extender can be used on a kayak trolling motor. I have a video that shows how to make a tiller style extension. I don't like the U-Joint extenders because they don't work well on a kayak.

Did you add the ubolt on or purchase this way? Thanks!

Haha. It's because I try to get all the information out in a concise manner and don't want to make a mistake. It takes a lot of time and filming to get it right.

Haha. I try to get the information out in a concise manner. Many videos spend too much time gabbing that make them too long. JMHO.
